Thanks scruff et al, I’ll go with 43’s.

Scruff I’m just about to buy some AM 41’s and was going to go with 44’s the same size as I have in MW80’s to fit thermal sealskins in the winter. However I normally use 43’s in shimano summer shoes but can’t get the sealskins in them without taking out the insole. From what your saying I’d be fine to stick with 43’s though?

If my 98 East Peak would take disk brakes I’d get it running again.

I find calibre very easy to use. I don’t bother with the kindle software anymore.

Pedal On had a good deal on folding 29 mud x recently.

I’ve been thinking of getting long fingered gloves they are so bad this year, I think it’s all the rain as everything seems twice as high as normal. I’ve found that it helps to pedal as hard as possible through them and for the next 10 minutes or so.

Another Source user here, hard to see how it could be better. Very easy to clean as the whole end opens.

there was no such thing as a GCSE in 1981.

Exactly, it was proper exams back in 81 then they added 33% more letters to the exam title and so of course all the results went up by 33%.

It seems to be getting increasingly difficult to find anything that is actually fit for purpose these days,

Your confusing your purpose and the manufacturers.

The E3 only has a capacitor rather than a battery which would explain a difference in the stand light brightness.

I run an E3 on my off road commuter and it’s great not having to charge batteries all the time and always have a light ready to go. This looks to be a little cheaper which is good. I think the E3 is a claimed 800 lumen as well, but as the only thing I’ve compared it to is my very old cateye halogens I’ve no idea.

The other great thing about a dynamo is you can charge up all those other gizmos you can’t leave the house without.

I haven’t read the whole thing, sorry.

That would be a good tag for a few people but you’d need to change it to

” I haven’t read the whole thing, but I’m not going to let that stop me…”

The more or less program was very interesting but I came to the conclusion that so many must have been doping that it would be impossible to judge who should of won.

So do you think that this project was the most cost effective way of saving cyclists lives in the Netherlands? That the same money spent on new lanes in areas that didn’t already have them would have less impact? I don’t believe that.

I’ve got mountain pipe but it’s for fixing punctures. I use a track pump at home and don’t change tyre pressure while out on a ride.

even if it was just due to people’s stupidity or carelessness

So spend the money where the accidents cannot be avoided by the victims. If you jump a light and get hurt then that’s not an accident that’s you making a bad call.

You really don’t have to be very bright to realise there is no god, as is evidenced by so many atheists. 🙂

It’s very impressive but only seems to replace existing cycle lanes with a quicker more elegant solution. The same expenditure on completely new lanes in areas that didn’t have them would seem a much better use of resources.

Tonyplym that isn’t going to save a single life whereas new lanes might.

Of course if the entirety of the Netherlands is already 100% cycle laned up then it’s a great idea and looks fantastic as well.

Leatherman – disproportionately useful for it’s cost

They get expensive when you start giving them away to airport security 🙁

I’m afraid it is bike related and it’s a pair of Lusso thermal bib tights bought well over 20 years ago and worn every winter.

Radio 4 is of course this countries finest achievement and totally free if you don’t wish to watch television.

I’ve got a 29 at the front and a 26 at the back but I’m struggling as to where to fit in a 650b.

However, LG’s 25 million-won ($22,010; £13,940) price tag is likely to dissuade many from investing in its technology at present.

We were paying £14,000 a few years ago for 65″ NEC plasmas.

I actually quite liked my Girvin Flex stem.

My Hite Rite on the other hand was useless because I was(and still am)too light to compress it.

So that must be what a readership of 6? 1 in the US to rise above the 0 in the UK and the Russians going from 1 to 5. Maybe it’s a special punishment for members of Pussy Riot. 🙂
