69ers are great! I keep goig back to mine, but the boy’s a bit small yet for a 29er front wheel!

Thanks – sounds like he’s too big for a Small but maybe will grow into a Medium!

Sola rider I’ve still got a brompton I bought off you- flat wide bars, bar ends, campagnolo chainset. Still going strong on daily commute. Been through a few campagnolo bearings though but par for the course!
Nice bike you’ve got there – I am now looking at brompfication with wallet open!

I use a C bag on the S frame. Have had no bother for last three years.
    Doesn’t interfere with steering.

I do have Easton bars which are wider than standard but they’re at the same height as Brompton ones.

Hmm, not so positive then. So niche you can’t buy them!
Will email and see if they respond.

Alternative viewpoint – I use H bars and Loop bars on all my bikes – just work great all the time – here’s the FS –

Very nice indeed – spinal tap black!
I went 1×10 on mine with clutch mech and no chain guide – no chain jumping yet.

I had a Rohloff on mine – the new style low profile shifter. Worked very well and didn’t get in the way *too* much.

I’ve got 120mm Fox Talas on mine. Only used it on South Downs so far but fine for what I ride.

i had the option to go for 140mm but for me i thought it would be just too much. I’m a wheels on the ground rider!

I used to have three Jones’. Probably a bit excessive. Now down to one which runs as a 69er. And currently building a 650b wheel for the front for giggles.

I prefer the space frame ti for low weight, low standover and generally playfulness.
The diamond frame was great for stability and a plough through anything feel. I had it a with a Rohloff which worked brilliantly (had specific Rohloff cable routing).

I’ll buy another diamond frame eventually for bikepacking. I preferred the look of the straight unicrown fork though…

Boss ME50 suits me for home use.
    Also RC30 looper
Boss line selector to allow loops to go through a clean amp and leads etc to go through a Blackstar valve amp.

Loopers are just great for practising with

About to build a pedalboard and get it all neated up.

I got a Boss ME50 multi fx from ebay. It’s lots of Boss pedals in one box plus a foot pedal.
Easy to use and easy to store different sounds, takes up little space.
Wouldn’t go back to separate pedals now
Apart from wanting a looper now…

Bespoke Cycling in Farringdon is an Eriksen dealer and usually has one on display – worth a look if you’re in London

Moots also very good but less niche!

£387.60 through my University as well – you have to log in via your Uni network or VPN to see the prices though.

No restrictions on what you do with it or who you give it to once bought.

Cost well over a grand all in. It’s very expensive for one frame.

I did a course at Downland Cycles[/url] in Kent. One very busy week to build a frame from scratch. Materials provided. Quite expensive once you’ve paid for accommodation, food, course plus materials, but well worth it for the experience and tuition.

Here’s my finished product. Basically a copy of a Singular Peregrine. Running as fixed winter bike with cross tyres and discs.

Just to update from that older thread – I renewed under the same T&Cs, more expensive than last year but cheaper than the alternatives.
I’m sure it won’t last though.

Lady Gresley – thanks – Saga looks good – specified three high value bikes and still came out less than M&S. Now to read the terms in detail. Someone in the family is eligible…
