i have the insulated air core ultra, its great and i fully inflate it with the pump sack and let a bit of air out for my preferred firmness or softness. mine has survived 54 nights camping with no punctures. highly recommended.

full rupture for me 14 years ago. i opted for surgical repair, i got surgery 2 or 3 days later.
i was in a cast for 2 weeks and on crutches. i was back to work 2.5 weeks later in an achilles boot with heel wedges! there were 3 wedges and i had to remove one every 2 weeks. i was off the bike for 6 months and just missed the 2.5 weeks work. i had a great recovery and i went to physio a for about 8 sessions. good luck to yer sis.

covid has given me some relief as we used to be forced to have social team building lunches in our break. i’m glad i’m not the only one who dislikes these things. i was starting to think i was a right curmudgeon.

braking traction is also better with 4 winters on. i have had winters on the front of a fwd car and all season on the back and ended up pointing the wrong way before, 5.30 am on the motorway luckily.no harm done! in my younger days i was skeptical and thought i was being upsold but i will always buy 4 winters at once now .
i can always justify the cost as being much cheaper than an accident.

Thats the best thing on youtube for me. what amazing skills Leo has. Pete is also highly skilled and he used to work on the western flyer rebuild, which is close to where tally ho is and also a good youtube channel.
finn who used to volunteer at tally ho has his own youtube channel called knotFINNishedYet. hes got his own boat to repair.

I think if you like it on holiday, you will like it here. I had a Whistler holiday and decided to come out here to live. I had the advantage of no ties there and affordable rent here. Those days are gone. Rent is sky high now, local craigslist is a good source of info.
There are some very nice places east of Vancouver proper that have top notch mountains too. and like another poster said, having the option to go riding whenever you want is worth the hassle of moving, that is how i rationalized my move here.
luckily a local bakery make mince pies that are amazing too. there are a lot of nice things about living here, fly tipping is virtually non existent, most people pick up dog shit and litter and hardly anyone smokes.
With hindsight, if i had been to lots of uk mountain towns , i may well have ended up living there still. it rains a lot here but summer is usually warm and dry.

stihl ms170, 16 inch bar and narrow kerf chain,.043″ gauge. it is very capable and a good starter saw. the chain is considered a safety chain which makes it less prone to kick back. the stihl motomix or aspen premixed fuel is very handy for occasional use as it lasts for 2 years. ethanol in regular pump fuel is the thing to avoid in these small engines.

that was odd, i was sure i mentioned a well known online jobs and buy and sell etc! anyway, lots of work here. housing costs and commute times might be something to consider. with uk certification you can often get the british columbia equivalent ( red seal ) at bcit by taking a short refresher course.
