Yeh i have tightend the stem bolt probably tighter tham i normally would but i can only see the play when i push the forks side to side when the bikes upside down. I dont think i can tighthen the star nut any tighter which i making me think it is caput

Id much prefer to be as honest as i can, which i believe i have been. I think from taking the advice from here that £900 is a great price (especially as the forks are probably 4-500 on there own), if it doesnt sell this time i will split it i think and go from there.

Yeh it is SLX M7000 and clutch is on, I cant wind my b tension in any further. I think its fine to ride but not sure if it was supposed to be like that

But its only when im pedaling slowly with hands it feels a little notchy, more noticeable when pedalling backwards

Its def routed correctly, i have a narrow wide ride up the front which was a little worn not excessive tho, is it a case that this could be causing it but over time the chain will adjust and the noise will soften?

are the Shimano pins a weak point on the chain, or will I be ok just popping the jockey wheels out do a bit of re-routing.

Iv ordered a zee shifter, maybe il see how it runs when it turns up. What difference would the mech hanger make?
