Perfect – il keep the 8 speed for now as it’s just had a new cassette – the microshift are on offer which works out pretty cheap so il get them :)

I think by the looks of things they can’t be oversized either

I just need to make it comfortable for her, Iv bought a Tandem and made it into an electric Tandem – I have a comfortable seat but sometimes she will lean forward but also will lean back – her preference was to get a seat that had a back rest just to make it comfortable. It’s a difficult one I know and probably a lot of trial and error. The tandem we bought allows for both positions upright and leaning over – I can adjust it as we need to.
Just wondered if anyone had bought one of these type of seats before and if it was any good?

Ahh ok that puts me off straight away,, I did have a Circe Helios which was really good but too much for my budget these days – so I thought of getting a cheaper/older tandem and make that electrified.
Any others I should look out for?

So there seems to be 3 I’m looking at:

Magura MT trail sport
Magura MT5 estop
Shimano SLX 7120

I’m not overly sure on the Clark’s need to do more research

Out of the 3 above which tick the boxes, Clark’s and trail sport seem to be the cheapest

Will look into those,, would prefer to keep the rotors I have at the mo, as the brake just don’t feel great

Did you mount the 3m directly to the visor? Even though there are areas on it that don’t attach

Also are they an all year round riding bike as it seems they only cater for snow!

I only paid £150 for the bike so what I think il do following everyone’s feedback is initially upgrade the tyres to 700 x 45 Iv check the clearance and also some bars with more flare.

Iv confirms it can take an 11speed cassette but I may hold off on this for now

I got a voucher for tredz so ideally want to use that

Still going to do it – other than a few tweaks bike felt amazing

Not always able to get into town to freely so delivery more ideal
