I think there is more life in it myself, it does climb really well for a heavy bike,, just wondered if swapping the wheels or tyres out would make a massive difference?

Thanks, what would be the benefit of both? The lower more travel? The higher less? What situation would you change it

I did it today, not the full route as i was short on time, but i plan to try it again the weekend. It is that good!

I normally only ride over freeride parks or trail centres, i have done the odd trail other to that such as climach x,, but really enjoyed this one.
I only had a couple of hours today in the end but made it out, parked at the Callow lane and rode down the fire road to the main carpark where i picked up the trail.

Really is some nice tight technical singletrack, and in truth even though the track was wet it just made it more fun for me. Couldnt really go fast round it as it was slippy in places and not knowing the track.

The climbs, blimey i struggled on these but partly was my fault, i still had my bike set up half mast and my shock bobbing around like zebedee (riding a marin quake with fat tires 2.5). Beat part for me though was along the top the views incredible, nice natural drop offs, some steep but not that steep that you are riding the rear wheel – i nice set off doubles. Would recommend it in both weathers really a good ride!

I might try and sell my xperia z and get an older iPhone perhaps the 4s, at least then its that bit smaller for mounting on the bars and stuff

I have the xperia Z at the moment which is a great phone, but pretty huge screen and seems a bit flimsy upon a crash which I tend to do a lot!

All good stuff, thanks for this. I used to work outside, climbing poles and want to get back out there, but I want to learn it properly. I had my tree felled today by a surgeon and was talking to him for ages about it, it regenerated by bug to give this a go.

I need a chainsaw just to cut up.some logs can anyone recommend anything, preferably second hand?

It’s not to sell, it’s for us to live in, the house at the front will be used by family.

Don’t think re gassing them is going to work, the gas that was in them before just went. Wondered if I put more gas in within a couple of weeks, it would be gone again

You would class it as the easy one but its been there years, if your looking down from the top its on the right hand side, bang in the centre, not sure if its 2 or 3 Big fat chunky logs and rocks and leads into the drop or the doubles at the bottom of the run, beats me every time!

Does the PayPal one need the customer to have a PayPal account? I looked on the izettle wrbsite and it still looks like paying with visa is extra effort, with txt messages involved which the customer has to act on

Will take a look at that link thanks. Thanks for all the different opinions,. Im quite a cautios driver, not really fussed about top speed. Im 32 so Been driving for 17 years, but I fully understand that riding a bike is different kettle of fish.
Im quite happy to just have a 125 initially, but friends are saying im better going for something with more power just to get you out of sticky situations, bit undecided at the mo as to wether to have a yr on a 125 then move bigger or go straight for the full licence, the only other thing is I have a 30 mile commute, got 2 options motorway quick route or normal roads a bit longer, if I have a 125 motorway out the question, but I do understand the need to learn riding first

Is it worth getting a 125cc bike for a couple of years, as i am a complete novice – or doesnt matter?
