To be fair i do have a Carbon Scott Spectre, but i really rate the (NEW) Parachute (never had the old) it does a great job, no complaints.

The fashion doesnt bother me, my personal opinion is its all down to technique – my mate rides a lot bigger stuff than me and only has the minimum, elbows, knees and a full face – he is a lot better rider than me extremely cat like.
Im more of a confidence rider so i sometimes i dont fully commit when i should and as my mate says i like to just make a jump first rather than clear if comfortably, so the more protection for me wont make me a better rider will just prevent me from injury.
The only other reason for me getting more protection is family, im really starting to get a lot of confidence and have found speed helps! so it shows them that im doing everything i can to be as safe as possible but still flying through the sky.

I have the scott compression suit pro 2, it says its compatible withe the scott neck brace, does anyone know if its only scott models that it supports?

This is exactly what I was hoping to hear. Iv heard before that the fives are pretty bombproof but its good to hear other peoples real experience.

How big? 6ft – 8ft drops, 20ft gaps so far
How good is your technique? My Technique is ok – good i would say, confidence sometimes gets in the way
Do you need more travel to let you get away with mistakes? im running 140mm up front on my five, iv only fell off once on it and that was down to a poorly designed jump rather than me.

i will be going to Chatel/Morzine. Im doing 6ft drops which is fine but i am using a lot of the travel especially on the rear. I will want to hit some of the big stuff but may avoid if i thought it was too much for the bike. I dont wnt to wreck what is an immense bike, and i can only afford one. It has handled everything i have thrown at it todate even if it blows through a bit of the travel on the rear

The ones loose, that’s seems like you have to get the crank out to change it or remove. I would rather try it myself before going down to the lbs. Has anyone changed it before? Give instructions
