I hate riding mtb on my own, as I love pushing my mate ooooer and my mate pushing me! Road riding I prefer on my own as my mate who does that just absolutely kills me! Simples!

Iolo, I understand what you are saying but does it matter if he is pro or not? If the op chooses to buy the kit and it makes the op enjoy their ride better, feel better about their bike surely that is the only concern?

    Just saying like

    Junkyard where’s that?

I’m staying in a hotel, to be fair the roady is going to fit easier than the mtb. And for some reason I don’t mind road riding on my own but hate mtbing on my own.

That’s right the only time of year it seems normal to get up at a ridiculous hour with the kids and then have a beer with breakfast (not the kids they have Buck’s Fizz! )

Prefer winter riding in general, seem to be able to handle the bike better, and find it easier to regulate my temperature. Run pretty hot so get too hot in the summer.

    Winter rocks!

Not injured hut currently suffering from very very intrusive irregular/ectopic heartbeats. I have been to the docs and advised not to ride until I have a 24 hour ecg.
Im only 32 and a little scared to be honest, and not pleased at the possible thought of not riding again
Just bought a new antares saddle for my road bike as well god dammit.

Where can I get cheaper bearings from then?

    ashleydwsmith

Oh and they have said I have over ridden an xc bike in places such as swinley so for those of you that know will understand my point. It’s far from fort William or any dh track! Plus I haven’t got the balls to ride dh

Fatsimon, purely as I didn’t have a bearing for the headset. All pivot bearings were replaced.
Whilst I understand the concept of them being consumables surely less than six months is an issue.

Where would I get said bearings from then?

Mr poddy, thanks for that. I may take you up on that.

Junkyard I understand bearings are consumabkes hence why I replaced after winter, however to have to replace 2 more less than 6 months later. Hmmmmm.

Position is currently being worked on as is setup.

But just looking as to setup properly I may need to move the hoods 8n the bars, so figured I could replace the tape at the same time.

I use some for road riding, but thats only 400 lumen.

You can pay the same money and get far brighter lights from people on here, trout I think does lights and smudge iirc.

Not had one of trouts but got an mtb batteroes one which is great.
That one may be ok as a helmet light though.
