Generally yes I get there before rush hour. Although my route is down the a343 which seems like a crappy road to cycle on.
Looked on Google maps and the 343 goes through the middle of fields all the way. Was thinking of 4 miles but doesn’t seem far enough!

It takes just over and hour, but my thought process is, that I’m getting back home too late to go out on the bike most days. So this is an ideal way of getting in some regular cycling.

Winter boots, I have the northwave set and they are fantastic. Even put spds on the roadie so my feet are warmer on the road bike!

well they looked rather involved and didnt want them to overpaint the cockpit!

Cheers everyone started on the spitfire yesterday and it took me over an hour just to do the cockpit assembly and glue the airframe together!
The glues that came with this set are humbrol ones but seem watery having to put more than one coat on! Am I missing something

Far cry 4 is immense, assassins creed black flag amazing. Got unity but struggling to get I to it! Drive club is utter pants! Killzone is good. Nba 2k15 is just hard to control.

I was thinking about a dropper but can honestly say i dont miss it!

The 303’s are £200 but I’ve seen them cheaper than that so are pricey. However as someone else put I’m banking on them lasting me a couple of years at least.
They are waterproof, and suitable for riding in sub zero temps.
They have an inner neoprene I think lining that closes nicely round the foot, and then they do up with boas which are ace and a clip that pulls the top part round to protect water ingress from the top.
They are so good and comfortable that I am not wearing my normal shoes anymore,.
Easy to walk in, I was concerned about rub round the calf area but nothing. They are just superb, and even went bike hiking today coz we got lost and and stepped into s boggy water by accident and my feet were completely dry! Best money I think Ive spent on bike stuff!

I got one, it’s awesome. Love it only thing Id change is the saddle, and maybe the tyres as they are shocking on wet roots. But otherwise a great bike. I wasn’t sure about getting it at first, because it’s a boardman and from halfords. But hey I started working for them, and it looks sexy!

Used to use sealskins but couldn’t get them to fit properley , might of ruined them in the wash so water came in the top to easily. This year I ave got some of the lake mxz303 boots. Not been cold yet but they kept my feet dry and I have ridden through some really deep puddles at tunnel hill and Caesars camp just to test them. Also found that one puddle went over the top, got a wet foot but foot was still warm. Happy foot!
Not dissing sealskins they simply don’t work for me.

I have them and had issues with the cables pulling out from the battery they replaced first time round which was great, second time I left too long really. But still an awesome light for the money. Might get a diffuser lense though!

I was thinking of getting a niterider lumina 750 as the whole battery pack thing annoys me!

I don’t cycle the lights, that’s too much to remember, just seemed the last couple of nights it the ‘big’ lights were too spotty. The joystick is great for the handlebar.

Ty anne guest house in beaumaris is amazing, only two rooms but both overlook the coast line, as in right across the road.

They dont do evening meals though, but you c8ukd walk up to the bulls head for food.

I used to use an x9 shifter for this it was so much easier than the original remote.
X9,s are easy to take apart as well! Can’t show pics as sold the bike!

They are trying to change the staffing policy and have infact increased their minimum contract to engage msn re colleagues, flexibility of overtime I’m guessing your mate means, are two very different things and are not demanded. Your mate is on a contract, if he can’t or won’t work then he just needs to say I can’t work. Simples!

A lot of halfords hate, shame really as they are trying to change to appeal to cyclists. They are always going to sell kids bikes and low priced bikes as there is a market for them. But I think it’s great that they are innovating and looking to change things. The bikes in the flesh or carbon and ally look amazing, and I’m considering one of the mtb’s.

Never overfull or emptied completely. Think there is going to be something broken!
