I bought if it were an imbalance in the wheel it would be constant so no matter whether I’m accelerating or travelling at a constant speed I will tell it? But it only happens when accelerating

Do you reckon it’s something that ‘simple’ before I go and fork out on driveshafts and hubs?

That is awesome. I wish I had something like that for me and the boys.

In GCSE year I had to do an English essay, I spent 3 nights working on this really hard. One of my class mates copied other people’s work in the lesson before it was handed in. He got a better grade than me, and unfortunately that led me to turning round and sticking two fingers up at GCSEs and I didn’t study for my exams!

    store manager for Halfords,

Yes i do despite the slating we consistently get and doing my best to change that in my store.

Buy i cant help wondering whether im meant to be doing something else!

yeah but a pedal doesnt come off like that if its been fitted properly in the first place. I had a guy come in with a bike he had ridden infrequently, the pedal came off, but was installed correctly – so without a though we changed the crank arm – not the customers fault.

I’d challenge back if i were you.

but its cheaper to get a cassette with a 28t maximum! thats my plan

so if im running a long cage on a 25t am i better off getting a short cage?

    ashleydwsmith

It was the 140k route, originally it was supposed to be the shorter one but there was an issue with some closures or summit like that so they took it up to 140k. I did ride it so talking from experience. I have the gpx but have absolutely no idea des how to send it to you

Mate I’m so fat I wouldn’t notice the extra weight. But would it have an adverse affect in the running of the chain or shifting?

Nope, checked with the guys there sending a photo of mine and that’s not
    The one

So I’ve tried a few things, adjusted the b screw, had it in the stand I now know 100,,% that the chain is not running the front mech. I also know that it sounds fine in the stand but on the road under load it sounds like a bag of spanners and it’s really bugging me. And ruining my ride. All I want is my bike to ride silently but it sounds terrible.

It’s a look 675, the interesting thing is that the one that came on the frame is completely different to the one supplied by look direct, which is completely different to the one listed on gear mech hanger and dérailleur hanger and wheels manufacturing. Betd don’t list one from recollection.

That’s extremely interesting. I knew I hadn’t whacked mine and am super careful when transporting it! Gonna get the t checked tomorrow see if it’s ok and get someone to have a look at it!

Bugger and darnation that’s like the third mech hanger I’ve had to buy! But I don’t know why I’m bending them

I hate tailgating, I’ll admit that when I was younger I used to do it. But as I’ve grown I hate it. It’s dangerous, it’s stupid. I just hate and try not to get wound up. If they wanna go by let them.

It started a couple of weeks ago, interestingly when I put new cleats on, at the time didn’t think about it and put it down to a dodgy knee so rested it thinking it was the right thing to do. Shifted the cleats went out and still no good.

Guess it’s gonna be a ride it and man up ride! Did it n the rain last year so sure I can do it in pain

Generally tends to happen in middle to bottom of block, but it’s not cross chaining. It never made the noise before and I used to use the lower part of the block and never had this noise. Tbh not sure what brogue the noise on!

Brand new rear mech hanger and same problem

    ashleydwsmith

Press fit bb. Shouldn’t be wheels as they are new and kysirium equipe s. The only other thing is rear mech, so when pedalling and if I look back at the rear mech the bottom jockey wheel seems to be too far left (is towards wheel). Top one is in line as it should be.

I still get them, sometimes during a ride. Had them Tuesday but had had a massive fry up with 2 coffees prior to riding. Settled down after a while. Used to get them really bad but that was when my stress was manifesting itself through the missed beats. Had one of those lie in a tube scanny things, was told what it could be and they could burn out the problem, but everyone is different. Get it checked out if feeling bad or concerned.

I feel for you. I had one the size of a £2 coin. I suffered the same as you, where the stone had blocked a tube. So depends on whether you have tiny little stones to flush through or one big one.

Mine was so big I had to have a stent fitted which is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever had, and the. They broke it up by sonic booms! Then I just passed it. However when I had the stent removed I ended up in a&he again!

    Good luck

Not good the old ticker. I had a scare last year, which was heightened by the use of energy drinks. Not touched one since!

Great news, so pleased for you and your family. Best of luck to you all. Ash
