Yeah might do that. Don’t really want to spend £89 on v2 XML from mtb batteries if I don’t need, unless I can get a good deal!

I have a gt sensor 1 which I thought was great and am in the process of buying a zaskar 100 9r carbon because I love gt’s.

The I drive system works a great very little if any pedal induced bob, I love them and would recommend to anyone!

    So there!

I know a chap who used to be a lawyer and that went bad, so as a fill in job he traine dot be a tiler and he is very good and doing very well. He tiled our kitchen and did a great job. He was quite fortunate in that a relative does bathroom and kitchen fits so could put work his way but yeah he is doing well.

It’s through ezi pay, so yeah made payments on time, but they won’t let you take another agreement whilst you have (I didn’t know that you couldn’t do that) so have to pay off the current one to get the new one.

Tunnel hill frith hill porridge pot can all be linked to swinley. They are quite good, although not as many lengthy trails as swinley.

Way I see it is you did what YOU as a FATHER had to do to save your son. Could the helicopter land where you were? I’d of done exactly the same as you. Your boy is ok, and safe and well. You did what you needed to do!

I’m early thirties and I don’t have the bottle! But I have kids and a dog to think about! So they are my priority! As much as I’d love to go and do 40ft drops and massive doubles it’s not practical, but I just go out there to ride. 9times out of 10 there is a safe route around the harder obstacles so that’s what I go for!

Done exactly the same thing once before, always talk about seat tube and not the clamp. Prob the 34.9 to go round the diameter of the tube.

I know but Im too impulsive.

Figured that a 29er is faster rolling, matter going out with a few lads who all ride 29ers and were just flying along with less effort than me!

I just don’t want to make a mistake. Being honest the trail riding I do is based around swinley. My personal opinion is that people were downhilling on less travel than that not so long ago and they all lived.

My other thought is yes do I need it, if I encounter something bigger than normal in terms of drop then if it he shock bottoms, oh well that happens. But people do very skilfull drops off of walls and postboxes and stuff on a hard tail. I know they are highly skilled but that is more than I would ever dream of or have the skills to do.

Mate, tbh I cannot and would not even like to imagine what you are going through, and therefore feel it would be wrong of me to give you any advice whatsoever.

However I have been reading this with interest, and I do feel for you. But despite the fact I’ve never met you before I must say reading your post about not drinking last night etc made me feel quite proud of you. You’ve made the first step, just keep at it.

Ahhhh right. Gonna change the stem, shorter. Might get some narrower bars.

Don’t get any aches anywhere else, it is literally just my neck!

    ashleydwsmith

Gt sensor 1 is the bike.

If my back is more upright so closer to vertical surely I would be looking at the same point with less neck bend?

I’d of thought bringing the stem in would push me back if you lie contributing to a more vertical back?

    ashleydwsmith

Quite about lower. Trying a shorter steeper stem so that might work?

Cheers for all the answers, so do I need a new bushing? The whitefish ring that sits at the bottom of the freehub? I might take you up on the freehub offer as can’t afford a whole new hub.

I’ve done that with flats on! So I wouldn’t worry to much.

Did it again with spd’s on the other day by a gate!

Give notice and get out. You can get somewhere that is going to be a lot cheaper. I think you are right in that he would have to cover buildings insurance of which the tenants may pay a charge to cover this but £140 a month per flat is a lot. You would the. Cover contents insurance.

Just think what you could buy for your bike with all that extra money.
