I have a set for sale in the classifieds. Dt Swiss x470 rims on GT all terra red hubs. 20mm thru front and 142×12 on the rear.

Managed to get it out. Wound the tension off then managed to prise it off the cleat.

Lost a cleat bolt but hey I’m sure I can replace that!

No not currently attached to the bike, but the shoe is. It looks and feels like a bolt has either sheared or come out entirely meaning the shoe can turn 360 in the pedal itself.

I have removed the pedal as its raining. But cannot for the life of me work out how to get it out. If I wind the tension screw right off will it pop out?

Decided to mtfu and follow the advice about getting the bead in the centre and working bottom to top over and over. And it worked. First one took me ten minutes to get done and second took me 9 minutes including getting it off the other rim.

Got the new axle in and it’s too narrow for the freehub body.

So loads of play in the freehub body when it’s attached.

Any ideas.

Spokes? It’s a wheelset’ so just need to convert the hub.

I am having the same dilemma, I bought some sealskinz and they are a pile of shite,. Unless you shin area fits the sock perfectly the water goes in them but can’t get out. I knew they were not waterproof but bloody annoying when you ride along with a sock full of water.

I have to be honest, and say I have gone the other way. I bought one quite early on in my mtb life and it was great, however as I have improved my skillset I have used it less and less.

It does depend on the riding you do I suppose, if you have lots of techy fast downhills then it’s worth it no doubt.

I bought the giant one as I think it was the cheapest on the market and remote operated, hasn’t let me down yet.

Wish I was racing. I was up there today but too early to pick up the course. Trails I went on seem to be pretty good. There’s the obvious mud puddles here and there, but otherwise it’s in good nick.

Depends on the company, I work for a reputable retailer who are currently employing sales managers but the definition of the role will vary from company to company.

My missus doesn’t ride, is not interested in the slightest but has no problem with me or my bike or riding. She is awesome!
