Not had anything to do with he mail order side of things but, the shop in the Uplands Swansea is my LBS and the guys there are great – they are always helpful and and their workshop is also great. The guys really know what they’re talkin about and not out to take advantage.

Used gas, aga and ceramic now have an induction range and totally love it far more controllable than anything else I’ve used

Try screwfix

Had mine 2 weeks ago the day after not feeling too bad but then it hit me sore throat, felt completely shattered all the time lasted 2 tp 3 days. It really knocked me out. I’m not having one next year.

Train to become a teacher then you’ll be as happy as me, being verbally abused, treated like sh.. , have way too much paperwork which cannot physically be done, be inspected by others who tell you that you need to improve but don’t tell you how to improve, be given ridiculous deadlines. But the money is good and every now and again you get one or two moments when you see a light turn on in a kids face that believe it or not makes it worthwhile.

Then comes family, house, car and a reasonable budget to blow on bikes.

It all depends what you want from life. A dead end job is only a dead end job if that’s what you want or is it a stepping stone to something different or better. It’s not all about the money be happy in what you do – no amount of money can replace someone who is happy at home and in work – if they live in a caravan or a palace.

Moons ago there was a terrible act people used to inflict on each other……. when asleep you’d sneak up all quiet like position yourself and the give a good blow…….down a sleeping fellows nose. it was disgusting but seemed to do the trick if you had a cold or not. there was a lot of bad feeling aboard that ship for some time.

Well it may help, that’s if you can persuade someone to blow down your nose.

Have a nice cup of tea and a welsh cake it will all seem better tomorrow.

Are we really surprised to hear that the way the government are running the country into the ground – I’m not saying any other parties could do any better, but couldn’t they just get on with it and work together to make this country great again.

It could all start with parenting classes to teach parents how to look after and how to treat children. not let 4 / 5 year olds wander the streets late at night.

Get people in the mindset of working for your money not just how to sign a name and you get instant money. Make people do voluntary work for a given amount of time each week. Let them earn the respect and self esteem that comes with working for a living.

I had a 2008 genius 50 and it was a great bike bit of a do it all. Borrow it and suck it and see. Whats to lose.

This is my latest lovely, just need a renthal 34T chainring and a straightline guide and I’ll be happy —- for now..

renthal 750 on both my bottlerocket and evil sovereign and 685 on my SS

The hope one looks good but in the blurb it also states that it runs along side the 1 1/8 threadless headset.

So my question is could I run this headset on its own or does it act as just a reducer to put a 1″ 1/8 headset in.

I am looking for a renthal duo stem which has a 40mm height I then have 25mm to play with in total, I thought if I could get a reducer headset with a minimum stack height I’d be playing safe.

Any other ideas will be gratefully accepted.
