Then after you’ve built it and decided that you do/n’t like it sell it on here for someone else to benefit from the good deal you got.

If the double is anything like the Bottlerocket it’ll be a bag of fun and bombproof.

Yes had one of those together with a breakdown – then got rid of my Spicy bought a Bottlerocket, then an Evil Sovereign and now building up a Prophet. Bikes are wonderful things to help you deal with life. The only probs then are that life gets in the way.

Just buy a gshock for all of that and buy a smart watch to wear out. I’ve got a Breitling but I wear the G shock nearly all of the time.

I tend to use a cable tie as a guide. Easy, cheap and disposable.

Countzero that wouldn’t kill it as the root system has been known to go down at least 6 feet.

Got a company dealing with knotweed in the garden of a house we/re trying to sell. It’s costing us 5 grand. A bloody nightmare!!!!!

If you’re looking at rose bikes why not browse through the YT and Canyon sites as well?

I love my stage 5 shock but the hassle I had getting one from Silverfish was unbelievable. In total I must have waited 7 to 8 months. Hopefully the service will be better with the new dealer. PS Silverfish did let me have the shock in the end at a quite heavily discounted price.

Lank glad to hear that the bike was a good un. Hope you enjoy your new ride, we’re all in this game together and I don’t agree with the fleabay attitude I’d rather sell something that works well for a reasonable price to like minded people. Good luck lank glad to help.

It does recommend (Royal Purple Ultra Performance Grease) but I can’t find any in the UK unless someone knows of a sneaky stock somewhere?

Would Stendec Easy Glide Fork Grease do the job nicely?

That does sound expensive I sold a 2009 frame for 450 and forks for 340 I’m sure it wouldn’t cost £800 to build the rest of the bike up especially if it’s original.

    Keep looking

If you go for a CRV don’t go for the petrol – it’s a guzzler. Great to drive on the road but it’s not a off roader in the true sense of the word.

I was in a simular boat three years ago I ended up having counselling 7 months off work and a course of happy pills. After I realised I had a problem I went to the doc and the ball started rolling. Sorry but he has to make the first move himself – he needs to recognise that he has a problem. I’m mostly good now, I know my triggers – still have low days even though I’m taking the pills, but doesn’t everybody.

Good luck, I feel it’s a matter being there to pick up the pieces when he realises that he has issues.
