I use a brace for bouldering after a climbing accident and two ankle operations. I’m just getting ready to get on the bike again after my second op. The brace helps but I also take a couple of pain killers before exercise. I did find a wobble cushion really good to build up strength in my ankle again.

Just seen it quite impressive 22’ unicycle and said he could go to 35’
Seems like a really nice guy.

At 5’10” I rode the large and was really impressed, I thought a medium would fit me but the top tube wasn’t too long and with the seat post down and the command post fully up it fits like a glove, so I bought it the 2016 spec which is really good value at the mo with 25% off. The 2017 spec doesn’t seem to be as good.

Just had a carpark ride on a large and at 5’10” it fitted really well, the cockpit seems quite short. I think its going to be a hoot.

Cheers the twenty odd percent off at the mo is very attractive.

Yep still got the narrow rims but if they last a year or so it’ll be ok. Getting positive vibes at the mo, the bike is also at a good price so might be very tempting.

Don’t forget buying second hand you could be buying someone else’s problems. saying that my last three cars have cost £250, £550 and £1000 all been great and two of them had 180K on them. My last one was low mileage 98K.

I think there was a mistake made with the stena code or that’s what I picked up. I believe it was supposed to be £10 but came off as 10%

Used the egg10 last week and the stena discount as well I was going to keep my uturn lyrics until I saw that deal. I just had to. It’ll soften the blow when I sell the lyrics. It’ll mean I will lose 1 1/2lbs from my new build:))

Just buy a 29 frame forks and wheels and mothball the 26 frame until they’re back in fashion in 3 or 4 years time. I just pulled out of selling my 26 frame I was going to buy a 27.5 but had my doubts. Now I’m glad I didn’t go through with the sale and very happy with my 26.

It’ll be interesting to see what weight it comes in at when I he it built. Then comes a bit of tinkering possibly. Ii definitely think I’ve made the right decision. If I get that 27.5 itch again I’ll put the wheels and a new fork on my evil sovereign:)

Thanks beagle that’s what I needed. I’ll go with a cc air with pedal lock. I’ve got a lyric uturn at the mo then the std saint brakes, xt cranks, xtr rear mech, xt shifters and Chris king hubs and 819 rims. Thanks for the confirmation just needed that push. It’s much appreciated.

🙂 Just thinking that Chilcotin might be too much bike here in South Wales. Any other opinions?

Meant to say can’t see the pain staying on he chainstays for long.

Looked at one on the weekend. Nice looking bike apart from the internal caliper on the rear. This makes the rear end very wide. Any see the paint staying on the chainstays too long as it’ll have been rubbed off by your shoes.
