Take it back it's within a short period of time and it's not fit for purpose, be nice but be firm and stand up for yourself.

Why don't you get the kids together during the summer holls at least it'll give you the opp to talk a bit and to see if you do have any common ground apart from the children.

Can't believe I've just done that.

Why don't you offer a rentable workshop where people can rent it by the 1/2 hr or hour to do their own repairs may pull some trade in as well as those who want to book work in to be done by a mechanic – even if you just offer it once a week when you're quiet. Tell you I'd use it

Bought an imac with a 27 inch screen and quad core processor – best thing with sliced bread and the operating system is easier to use than windows. Don't but any word processing software download neo its almost as good as word – without the bells and whistles and cost.

It's as dangerous as you want it to be…. you could always wrap yourself up in cotton wool.

Pimpmyride can never have too powerful brakes also the weight difference is marginal and 1 finger braking is all you need.

Rubber Queens UST I find them great but they are wide for 2.2 – suit for everything I can throw at them in South Wales

Broke my ankle whilst rock climbing about 13 years ago after a couple of ops they told me it was U S. Took a lot of pain killers in the early years as well as anti inflams they did give me the option to fuse the joint together to make it solid- I did tell them where to go. Now I just get a dull ache day to day which I can deal with but, I've still got mega strong pain killers and anti inflams which calm the pain when I've over done it.

Just keep going and go back to the doc get it all on your notes as this may affect your ability to work in later life. Don't forget cycling is good for the legs as it's mainly non impact.

By the way do take Cod Liver Oil Capsules and Believe it or not I find a copper bracelet works a bit too.

Just put the Buff over your head and flip the tail back so it's hanging over your neck, comfy to wear and you've got some protection from the sun.

Heather Bash I like the bike sooo much I don't intend getting rid of it at all. It's enough bike for me and I'm never likely to outgrow it.
especially with the xtr chainset and 819's with CK hubs

If you do buy try and get a 2009 model then spend the extra cash on necessary upgrades, I'm still working on mine the only std parts are the suspension / brakes / Headset /BB and slx running gear which is excellent.

I'm using it commute and then going for a ride after work much better than going to the gym. Plus I'd wreck my spicy if I took it on the road each day and I couldn't leave it anywhere anyway.

I ordered the sprung loaded one didn't work basically chain kept slipping due to the lack of tension, then got the roller type which works fine.

Yep it is accurate and to answer you I just wanted to know if I had made much of a difference that's all, I love the bike and the changes I made – no i didn't go down the route of all of the lightest bits, i looked at the type of riding i was doing and how could i improve the bike.

Tomahawk – I uploaded the pics to photobucket then when you've created your albums there are links on the left hand side click on the img link that will automatically copy it to your clipboard all you have to do then is paste it into your reply.

Thanks for the comments Luckily I got the 316 cheap and so far I've spent just short of 1K on her, she rides like a dream though – worth every penny. Only trouble now is I need a bike to run on the road and to commute on. So I've got an old GT arrowhead frame I've swapped old parts from the spicy onto and am now running it as a ss. Hope you make the right decision for you –
