Never go round his house again, ignore him completely.
When asked by him/GF why, tell them you can not be bothered by (censored) drivers.

Another happy c456 rider here, maybe the tester in that review found a strange pube in his bed and it put him in a bad mood

I’ve gone the other route, suspension seatpost, lot better for technical climbs.
Not needed to drop seatpost, if its well steep, off the back ba11s on the crud guard, if its bit rough, inner thighs on seat.

If you don’t mind the cold but hate water sloshing around, the only solution is flip flops.

what is chav- a derogatory term for a working class youth- you better off just using vandal– as that covers all , without casting aspersions- unless you have witnesses etc

Vandals, weren’t they the tribes that sacked Rome. Bit harsh on them, doubt they broke many double glazed windows.

I brought a blackspure for £10 from local market five years ago. Still going strong.
Tiling wall and floor, three rooms,
Loads of welding jobs, cars gates and tool fabrication,
aslo great for removing rusted nuts on cars and axe sharpening (avoided axe to grind pun)

They do look like retard shoes. As long as you’ve got your bike with you you can pull it off.
Apart from looks they are good fit and comfy all day.

Been there. This is the time you will find out who are your friends and who are acquaintances.
I was lucky, I have three truly good friends. Listened when I needed to talk and always asked how I was, but most of all gave up extra time to get me out on the bike, to clear my head, even if I didn’t feel like it.
Don’t keep it in, talk about it. You’ve had a good response on this forum. Keep us updated and you’ll get it off your chest.

Had a giant nrs 3 frame crack on me, they didn’t have same frame to send back to Me, so sent an nrs 1 frame, after asking if it was acceptable.
Think it’s a case of, if they cant fix/replace with same’ you are entitled to same value/greater value replacement.
Check trading laws, i.e. not fit for purpose.

Not sure how true, but once heard that a small piece of the ceramic top from spark plug will shatter a windscreen. Not tried it but let me know how it goes. :-)

@ druidh, yes seriously, saw ghost when I was four. Won’t go into darkened room. Not too bad outside, years of night fishing has desensitized Me, but still weary of dark rooms (not the photographic type).

I have a giant nrs, i really rate it, so anthem would be my choice too.
Also had good reviews from biking press.
Can still get pivot kits for mine, so don’t see the anthem being any different.

Use multi meter to test for power at the bulb socket . Make sure you use a different earth, battery neg best.
If you have power then your earth is duff, if no power then repeat at next furthest connection.
When you get power then you’ll know where the break is.

Mine has done the same a couple of times.
Reoported and fixed after two days. As said before not used much so not too bothered.

Main reason I have two bikes, one hardtail and t’other full sus.
Do tend to ride the hardtail more, so the full sus is more of a T.S.B.
Only tend to use it when the hardtail is in need of repair, out for a bimble with the girlfriend or fitness is slipping and I need something bit heavier for a workout on the climbs.
But main reason I kept these two was that they are totally different.
If I had to keep two hardtails then one carbon and one cheapish Alu would do the same as my presant setup.

Double fracture to left wrist, scaph and a metacarpal and two fractured ribs.
Apparently was riding around for a month with the metacarpal fractured, but didn’t know till x-rayed scaph. Told doc wondered why it was hurting me. Back on bike one week later, ribs didn’t let me do much more than gentle fireroads.
