Use axle just inside top hat/adapter. Push away pull towards until it pops off.
You’ll have to tap retaining ring back in with a drift that only bears on the retaining ring
Ex-army. Hexi blocks waste of time. MUST be used outside.
Used a burner which screwed directly onto butane can, posh ones had electronic ignition.
Low bulk and worked
Heres a tip, ride with new pads for four to five rides, when you are home change for new pads, put part worn pads in your trail pack so when needed to change on trail they’ll slot straight in, and they will bed in very quickly too
Looks fine to me, had one for just over a year, been told I’m a lot faster up and down than on my FS bike. Mine just calls me a wuss when trail gets gnarly, it will make you throw it down more stuff faster than before. Enjoy
Had a look at front hub, needs 6805RU bearings, readily available and cheap.
As they where not worn but dry, pried rubber seal off with needle and added a few drops of synthetic chain oil, lot better.
Check if it’s indexed properly.
If the cable is over tight chain will rub on the up shift ramps on rear cassette.
Chain will shift correctly but will be noisy.
Try backing off cable at shifter end. Try 1/4 to 1/2 turn a time.
Also check cable isn’t to tight before any adjustment of the cable adjuster by shifter.
Didnt they do this in Scotland a while back. Moved scum neighbors into a block of flats to annoy each other and give everyone else a break. Also the police knew where to go straight away when any crap happened.
