If they are home made connetions make sure the copper screen wire (negative). Looks like fishnet. Has not got a stray strand making contact with the solid copper core, only needs one strand to touch to mess up your RX.
Also ensure its all shiny new looking copper, no dull or green color. A little spray of GT85 or similar on assembly also assists.

Mrs goose works for poundstretchers, we got two from there, one bedroom to take chill out before retiring. One front room to top up warmth. Both good value. Would recommend.

I moved the other way, and not missing FS at all. So much so I changed my second bike, giant NRS1, to HT as well. Two HT’s better than one.

My smoothie has lasted a year, still ok.
I was lucky to find a thread and link to superstar for compatible bearing.
Think bearings are classed as consumable parts.
Some good some not so good. Think Ive been lucky. Mind you I think using a mucky nutz and low pressure water to clean may be key.

The xtc is lighter but stiff in the rear triangle, steel should be bit livelier, giving a bit of spring in your step feel.

Had this too, lube makes it worse. I took the little rubber grommet/cable port cover off and sprayed with GT85, good soaking and all good. Just re-spray every other ride. See how long they last.

When I was a nipper Tesco was budget/down market, to the extent that if you wanted to take pish out off someone you would infer that their trainers were Tesco specials.

I tend to give them a good squirt of silicon lube after a wet ride.
    Plus mechs and stanchions.
Have thought that when mine wear to dip the ends intwo part epoxy adhesive. To take up any play, seems good on paper.

I take it when you said text book bleed, you ment you removed pads and replaced them with the bleed block fitted thick end in. Just checking, it sounds like too much fluid in system.
Have you tried centering caliper as well?

Had that tennis elbow, not fun. Was offered the injection, but it only masks the pain, its not a cure.
You will do more damage that way. Just took anti inflammatory stuff and tried to avoid anything that hurt too much. Took two years to clear, sorry.

If you get no joy, try the old sit outside with faulty wheels, on a busy Saturday, telling everyone who goes near garage of what to expect, and what you were told when you approached them. Bet they start listening. Might take a couple off weeks but might get them to see your side.

I went to a Chandlers and got a tub of waterproof grease. Used on trailer wheel bearings, prop-shafts and the like. About £5 for 500g

It’s all greed, car parks are there to make money. Either by paying for the space or getting more cars into set area to maximize foot fall in your shop.
All making for smaller spaces and zombie shoppers not taking extra care to use them.
As for the paint, you said you’ve not long had car, was it previously owned by twunt and someone trying to settle old grudge, and you copped for it unfortunately.
