We stayed there a while back, just ask in the bike shop for some trail/route advice they are a very friendly bunch

The pub does great food as well

I’m a mechanic so have no issues taking the fork apart as ive serviced a few of mine so how long does it take to take it apart, adjust the travel and refit?

the one ive ridden had the tallas adjustable forks on and on its lowest setting (cant remember if it was 120 or 130) it climbed really well and just ffelt better to me

I think 130mm will be ideal for me

I was thinking the front mech probably wouldnt fit so was thinking of going single ring at the front at first as my neighbours who ive ridden has that and i managed fine even on some pretty narly climbs. If i can drag my Ghost up hills with its gearing then a 3kg lighter bike should be pretty easy lol

I guess if i tell on-one what fork im going to use they will be able to supply a suitable headset

Being lucky enough to be able to afford two bikes ive been trying to decide if i should get a light weight hardtail or not. having ridden a very well specced 456 carbon round cannock on saturday ill be ordering one in the new year. Ive a felt virtue full suss already and love that but want the 456 for more smoother xc stuff. it was an absolute rocket and was far better than i was expecting on the bumpy stuff. was debating spending the money as i have spent a fair bit speccing my felt exactly how i want it but having ridden the 456 ive decided i NEED one lol
