One of my cats Elliot got lost the first time I let him out all night I was worried sick. He eventually rolled in 4 days later like nothing was wrong!
Harvey jumped into someones garden and as the walls were so high he couldnt get out, It was only when I went looking for him a few days later that I heard him crying and found him.
Erica got shut in the local council depot for the weekend 3 miles from our house.
And Sophie often vanishes for a week or two, the longest time being 4 weeks. She reappears each time brushed to within an inch of her life and smelling of lavender and coal fire so she is obviously going to an old biddy, sitting in front of a coal fire and getting groomed lol

Ive had that norovirus 3 times in the past few months and I never get stomach bugs. Its been less severe each time with the last time sounding just like your symptoms.

Going up the back of Snowdon past the old slate works with the oth erhalf who doesnt ride much, Think we saw two other people all day. The weather was awful all the way there in the car but as soon as the bikes came off the car a gap in the clouds appeared and very weidly followed us all the way up.

After a hard non stop climb we came over a ridge and were rewarded with this view which the camera doesnt remotly capture.

I had the exact same dilema and went for a Nukeproof Mega for the lbs support if things went wrong.

If you have an anodised frame like a black nukeproof mega does it not need any prep?

Best bike ive owned has been a 2011 ghost amr 5700. Also had an asx 5500. Out of all the bikes ive had the ghosts have been far and away the most reliable

Just had a phone call saying they are swapping it to a 2012 frame.

Thanks for the constructive comments ive actually had a giggle at the numpties this morning as im not in such a bad mood now after speaking to Certini. I know its a marmite bike but dont understand some peoples need to slag other peoples bikes off it does get very tedious and its always the same numpties. If the thread was titled “what do you think of my bike” then yes but it isnt so jog on..

I have taken it to my local bike shop for a 2nd opinion (bought this mail order as they couldnt get me one) And they agree the seat post is far from overtightened. its not exactly like a normal clamp you have to get an alan key out to adjust it so it cant over been overtightened by accident either. With the post tensioned as it is, its easy to twist it by holding the saddle so its definitely not to tight.

Certini are collecting it today which is fantastic customer service so will update this thread with what happens.

Peddles and bars are what i use on all my bikes to give a feeling of familiarity i dont like being clipped in

Post has never been used past the minimum insertion marks. the marks on the post will verify this. Hasnt been over tightened just undone and refastened since ive had it, I weigh just over 11 stone.

First things first that would of shook anybody up sounded very scary. Being a fireman i see a lot of people in life that are unlucky or just in the wrong place etc etc so appreciate that things can happen that are out of our control. You were just unlucky things happy in life both good and bad you just have to accept that they happen. I crashed 2 kilometers up mt Badabag in turkey on my own and was lieing in a drain channel knowing nobody would find me but to scared to move as id hurt my head and back. I was the same as you for a while i kept thinking of what could of happened…but it didnt, i was found and rescued and still love my biking. Try to just accept it happened and take life as it comes, sometimes good sometimes bad
