I’ve used Snowcard and Dogtag before. Had to make a claim with Dogtag last year, took 3 months to get my money which I thought was a bit of a long time. I’m trying Yellow Jersey this year

Is the phone set to optimise apps?

maybe the strava app is being ‘dozed’

Do you have any power saving settings on the phone (rather than the app)? I had a similar problem with an S6 and it was due to having that power saving on.

could be a battery saver thing

just realised that the phone has been in power saving mode while its been running :-)

$100 postage to the UK, plus I’m guessing whatever import charges, VAT, parcelforce admin fee etc.

Got my lad a Wiggins Chartres after he grew out of his Cnoc 16. Managed to get it for £180 in the sale with BC discount.

When you get to Langsett you could head East towards Penistone and pick the TPT up there and head towards Barnsley, then go North on the TPT to Wakefield where the TPT goes to Leeds but it does take a bit of a wide berth and goes through Methley and Woodlesford before ending in Leeds city centre.

Having owned a V1 5010 and a Nomad at the same time I always headed towards the 5010 when going in to the garage, such a fun bike to ride. Stick a 150mm fork on and it’s a very capable bike. Both are now gone and I’m riding a Hightower which is great but a little part of me still yearns for some 5010 action :-)

Should do, they’ve got at least a 5 year warranty from what I remember. I had an Anthem frame crack and I had a new frame and shock in a week

I’ve just upgraded from an 800 with the OS maps to the 820. The in built maps seem fine to me, only done the one ride so far, followed a route round the North York moors no problem, showed all bridleways etc.

How old and how tall is your lad Bill? Like the look of one of these for my daughter. She’s 9 and is about 135cm. She currently rides an Islabike Beinn 24 and just lately it’s starting to look a bit small for her. Not sure if this Saracen is gonna be a similar size. Ta

I’ve just upgraded from an 800 to an 820 and I’m quite impressed with it. It has a nice little feature that creates a circular route for you. Just put in how many miles you want and what direction you want to head, North, South etc. and it generates 3 routes for you to choose from. Cost me £225 from Halfords with the BC discount

First time I did mine with the proper tool they all came our dead easy. Second time I was left with all the outers in. Quick touch with a welder and they all fell out.

The shifter should come with an ispec a adaptor that does the same job as the special hope bolt.

The bolt that ispec A uses isn’t long enough to use on the Tech 3 lever it’s 12.5mm long whereas the Hope one i linked to is 16mm long

Edit. Rick XT M8000 is available in I-spec B as well

ISpec b will bolt straight on to the tech 3 lever…..but not with the iSpec b nut/bolt that comes with the shifter. You’ll need one of these. https://www.merlincycles.com/hope-shifter-mount-bolt-for-i-spec-b-90999.html?utm_campaign=googlebase-GB&utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=shopping&utm_term=MTB+Disc+Brake+Rotors+%26+Spares&ucpo=32149&gclid=CLbX5YLyztECFeUV0wod4iMLeQ
I got the same nut and bolt from a local hardware shop for 40p

[/quote]Anyone know if you can increase the travel on Revs?
Got a mate with some 140’s he wants to increase.

They do them in 150mm so I’d guess that’s as much as you can go. My mate dropped his from 150 to 130 so has an air shaft he’d probably sell.

Poah did you just use brute force to undo the bolt or did you heat it up at all to ease the Loctite?

Just ordered one this afternoon from TF
Looking at the installation video I’m gonna need some Loctite 272. Anyone know where I can get a small amount rather than a 50ml bottle at £30 plus?

This guy does custom frame bags. I’m just waiting for him to get back off holiday so I can get one for my Hightower.
