Uberbike: good pricing – indeed! But appears like they don’t have the “adapter” solution from old, straight 44 mm headtube to tapered fork.

This takes a tapered fork in a straight 44mm headtube. I’ve used one myself https://www.uberbikecomponents.com/view-product/Uberbike-15-Headtube-Tapered-Fork-Headset-Ceramic-Bearings-Green

Edit: CYBER25 code is still working for 25% off

Uberbike ceramic headsets are half price and they’ll probably be a code somewhere to take even ore off

Picked some up in Ubyk’s Black Friday sale. Only had one ride on them so far and that was a local mud fest grind so not had chance to really give em a good test.

Maybe a bit more than what you’re after but I love the round trip course creator on my Garmin 820. Stick in how many miles you want and which direction you want to head and it generates 3 loops for you to choose from. Hit go and you’ve got yourself a nice little mystery tour

Gone with some Raceface Agents from Wiggle. Are the older ones any different?

Mine did the same out on a ride last week, cleaned it up when I got home and plenty of gt85 while moving the cage back and forth till it freed up

Just realised you’d have probably meant a full build. I’m after frame only so have got those on my mind

I’m guessing those £10 off codes are reusable so best to buy the front and rear in separate transactions using the code each time

Sounds like the software update disables the ability to unlock the rest of the doors once inside the cab using the central locking button unless the key is present. Coupled with the Replock and the fact my van has a bulkhead it should make the load space a lot more secure

Only lock is on the drivers door. Thing is it’s not a “works” van it’s a double cab and is our family vehicle hence why nothing was stolen as there is nothing in it to steal. What has worried me about it is the ease in which they’ve been able to get in to the rear load space. I have kept bikes in there overnight and assumed backing it up to a wall would mean they’re pretty well protected. It was backed up to a wall today but the way they break in unlocks all the doors and they just released the handbrake and rolled it forward so they can open the rear doors

Edit. Seems like Ford have released a software update to rectify this https://www.parkers.co.uk/vans/news-and-advice/2017/august/ford-transit-security-update/

I’d definitely be upping your rotors to a 203 and 180. Never had any fade with my Tech 3s with that combo and done plenty of Alpine descents with them. I’m not quite as heavy as you but I’m still a shade over 15 stone geared up

So am i correct that the 820 has full detailed colour maps as standard, not the horrible basemap that cam on the 520?

Yes and you can edit what level of detail you want

Ordered on Saturday and got a despatch email on Sunday, Collect Plus tracking still says delivery booked 2 days later. First time I’ve unused the Collect plus option, is this the norm for it?
