Blazing saddles that would be ok if I was bolting from the outside but I need to go the other way as you can see above. It’d look a bit shit otherwise.

Thanks etsxteam but that is my 30t in the first pic so no need to confirm. I was wanting to fit the 30t to some xtr cranks but I can’t find any bolts long enough to go from the inside of the ring and into the caps on the end of the spider arms. If the ring is like the black one in the second pic then I’m certain the bolts that held the original xtr ring on will do.

Thanks. Looks like I’ll have to order a 32t instead unless anyone knows where I can get some chainring bolts that are at least 15mm long.

Gonna have to have a word with my mate then and get him to make sure he’s gonna be fully covered. I had a text off him last week regarding our trip saying he’d gone with Virgin black but had to ring them to add mountain biking as an extra. Like you say seems a bit pointless if it’s not gonna cover personal accident and liability.

Coolhandluke I’m not sure where you’ve seen that but on the policy wording I’m looking at on Virgin it says Mountain Biking ( including downhill racing and extreme ground conditions)

Cheers. Its not the end of the world. I’ve gotta make my way to the sister in laws in West Cowick from Wakefield tomorrow and would rather not use roads all the way. If I plot a route for cycling on Ride with GPS it sends me onto the canal at Knottingley but on the satellite view there doesn’t look to be a defined path.

sandal100 (or anyone else) what bolts did you use? Just got a Hope retainer ring for my xtr cranks today and realised I need different bolts. Thanks

Tried using it when I first went tubeless but after a few days the sidewalls were still leaking air and I had to pump the tyres up every day. Gave up and bought some Stans.

Decent ride in challenging conditions. Definitely back for another go next year.

Even if you’d have checked it there and then and gone straight in the bank to tell them it was £20 down the outcome would still be the same as it is now. The cash point balanced so that’s the end of it.

Just had mine replaced under warranty as it was dropping 10-20mm when sitting on the saddle.

Pretty happy with my Conti MK protections. Easiest tyre I’ve ever set up tubeless as well.

Martin I am on the latest version of movie maker because I had to download it the other week when my mate first gave me the videos he’d done.

Mr C I do have the Go Pro studio as well but I just found windows movie maker easier to use.

I’ve had a search on google for answers and I’ve read about windows movie maker not liking mp4 files and I may have to convert them for it to work. I’m just a bit confused as to why the first batch of vids from my mates camera was fine and now they’re not.

Yes, they did exactly the same with mine. I’m almost concerned that they’re not repairing them.

Either the cost of manufacture is less than the cost of repair, they can’t get parts, or they can’t be fixed. The last two options bother me.

Same thing crossed my mind. What was the problem with yours? Mine was dropping 10-20mm when I sat on the saddle. My mates has done the same and his is on its way back to where he bought it.

    Edit: it’s a stealth btw

Wife owns a recruitment agency that has a logistics division and I’ve thought of doing what you’re doing but her customers, Next, Asda etc won’t touch you unless you’ve got 2 years experience.

Sent the reverb back by collect plus, all good and got an email from CRC saying its on its way back to manufacturer and should have an outcome in 2-3 weeks. Got back from my ride today and I’d had a brand new reverb delivered. All boxed, bleed kit, the lot. Happy days! :-)

I’m no expert on Go Pro’s but Selfridges is quite an upmarket type department store that’ll sell most things at RRP.
Is it this one you’ve got?

Rob, as I see it the free returns via collect plus is for new, unused items only. But if it’s good enough for Onzadog them it’s good enough for me :-)

In an email regarding the warranty claim it says. “If the item being returned under warranty is validated as a warranty claim then your postage will be refunded at the Royal Mail First Class or Standard Parcel postage costs.” At first I wondered why I couldn’t use Collect plus, but I’m guessing that if they deem it’s not a warranty issue then they’re not prepared to pick up the cost of me returning the reverb, but if it is I’ll get a refund of the postage costs.
