It does this when the batteries are low. Are you sure the replacement ones are fully charged? Does it do it on all settings?

What year are the cranks some of the newer ones do not have the extractor capo and need to be removed using a ISIS crank extractor tool.

Well I think there is no live firing but could still be flash bangs smoke and men running around firing blanks. So more possbile routes in that neck of the woods

Swinley is near Bracknell in Berkshire so outside of the M25 oh and to the South West. Day permit is only a couple of quid and parking is free if you get there early enough.

I have had a cromo one for the last year or so. Yes they do creak but as people have said chain lube down the gap where the rail meet the seat does the trick.
Did the South Downs Way on my over 3 days carrying all my camping kit (~12Kg) on my back with no problems at all. Did not even need to get the vasaline out at the end.

I have a 2.2 Civic as well. Lots of room, can fit 3 bikes and people at a push but have had a load of problems with it includung a new ECU. It was however one of the the first ones off the line so might just be teething problems

Yep did this a couple of weeks ago, Food is good at Bax Castle. The mixed gril was execllent. Oh watch out for the northern end of the trail toward St Mathras Hill. Quite a hard steep up hill on very loose sand which makes it almost impossible to ride the last bit.

Had fun trying to ride straight thought the middle of a rave under the road bridge in Crowthorne Woods last year. Very interesting when they are too off their faces to get out the way in time…

The newer X type cranks do not come with the self extrator bolt so its a case of undoing the very tight allen bolt and using an ISIS crank extractor.

    Good link with pics here
