There are as many people will reject the suggestion of an inbred as will say you should get one.
I however would say it is ideal. Handles okish, climbs okish, will go down as fast as the pilot can manage.

I’m on my second, the first i had the wrong size.
Originally i ended up with a 16″.. at 6ft2 with a 33″ inside leg it was less than ideal.
18″ suited me which is some brands idea of a medium

I have a 9.5 mile commute by bike from front door to works bike lockup.
I do this at least three times a week if not more.. otherwise its a bus for 50mins (vs 45 on the bike)

As the winter draws in i tend to drop to two times a week due to not owning enough warm kit that can be washed quick enough.
The number of post work night rides tends to increase in the winter months.

    Take your time.
Don’t allow new build excitement to get the better of you.

Be really anal about it if you have to and list what you require if it helps do things smoothly.

Oh, and don’t bodge things.. get it right first time.

Is this why Ronin forks on ebay are such a “bargain” ?

Festivals seem good value when people charge this sort of amount.

    Both worth seeing though..

Had a wisdom tooth out at the start of august.
Stay away from alcohol for as long as possible because it can irritate the area where your gum is trying to heal.

My pomp is a flexy thing, but, its also majorly let down by a crap freewheel, crap chain, and cheap mountain bike ring on front.
Eventually i’ll lavish a bit of cash on it.
But, right now i’m playing a game of how cheap can i keep it running.

2.. both giro hex for everything.

Wear one while the other airs a bit thus avoiding a cheesy lid occuring too quickly.

I’ve always thought hair that required more than a wash in the morning is a faf, so it’s usually a number 3/4 crew cut for me.

Its clean, tidy, and with bike lids off and on it tends to stay tidier.

Bearings need not be 35 quid if shop around carefully.

I got fag ones off ebay for about half that price to do all the bearings in rear hub.

I’d hold your horses right there. Have you considered the alternative which is the Rockshox Sektor with uturn?

The sheer volume of hybrids/road bikes when i did a recent charity ride suggests cycling is being taken more seriously as a means of moving from a to b.

After “having a go” at the pub on my mates fixie and putting my leg through his front wheel (i blame the stella) i will stay firmly in the freewheeling singlespeed niche area…

It can be taken tooo far.

I’ve got news for you children you are also clones!

Oh and people who have forgotten that two wheeled wizzyness is suposed to be fun..

Somewhere on a public road, mentioned on public forums will never stay quiet long.
Besides, is’nt Thrunton pushed as a place for walkers and cyclists alike?

I’ve been combatting the feeling by riding more than i have all summer!
Been out every night past 6 days and i’ve ridden to work everyday.

Autumn is indeed one of the most pleasant times to be out on a bike.
Cool enough that you don’t overheat but not too cold that your old chap drops off with the cold.

Nope. I went through the tyre swapping thing then looked at how much it was costing me. Waste of bloody dosh. So, now i buy anything with a spesh logo for 20 quid and for the past three years that has meant fast predictable tyres.

Three bikes, two have the same tyres (spesh eskars)

The third has skiny commuter tyres on it.

The fact that you’ll shake any fillings loose could add a different feel to the experience.
It’s all doable on a masochism machine, but, you’ll be sore by the end of the weekend.

My brother uses a 15″ NS Suburban.
The dropouts are a bit fiddly because of the small bolts they use but it rides nicely.

He’s a 6ftish streak of wizz and he loves it.

(i should add it’s 1×9 (with a chain device since picture) and also rides beautifully setup for street and park with singlespeed.

I think the best i’ve managed is a brand new pompino frame/fork/hset/seatpost/saddle for 65 quid.

    Pure leap of faith bid.

My riding bud just got some through axle fsa cranks including bb rings for 32 quid.

Which in my books is a bargain

It’s bodged newlook horrendo-jeans for me.

20 quid for two pairs with plenty space behind knees for pedaling.. still have to be tucked into a sock on pedal side.

Good bodge would be taking them to a tailor and having them taken in at the bottom of the leg on drive side.

Blackburn x6 converted from 85 lumens to 300.. Quite a white looking led, but, with a wide angle lense inside the casing.

It’s heavy, but, it lasts a good while on a charge and even on the lowest setting its pretty effective.

and on the rear some 1/5 watt kidney lights and a bugger load of reflective tape on bike and bag.

Pedals are of interest.. should be fully rebuildable with decent aftersales care.
