if your running hope stuff (assumption there) it just meant my hoses route towards the toptube was more direct.. and the loop at the bars did'nt need to be so big. (i botched cutting the hose basically)

The folks in the Gateshead metro center evans are on the whole sound.
Knowledgeable and obviously yes, constrained by the company policy of purchasing/selling certain products. Although if i really needed powerlinks pronto i would just cough up and make a mental note to get them off crc in future.

solve the short hose with a 90degree connector.
Tis what i did on a bike.

Thats actually quite cool, not that i'd even think that was a sensible amount for a saddle in this lifetime.

It'll be nothing personal.. i work in a environment where the saturday kids "tidy" and end up binning important stuff.

We had a chap who was in his 70's still riding round on a 3000 quid mountain bike near us.

He was a legend, spent his whole life womanising, smoking pot, and drinking everything your not meant to, used to thoroughly enjoy his tales of going to the gym to letch on flesh a quarter of his age, some would call him a pervert or a sex pest and you'd probably have been right

Almost predictably lung cancer got the better of him, he was still on a bike about 2 weeks before the end. Sound bloke who'd do anything for you.

Stay on the bike is the gist of this…

For the amount i ride it just never seems possible to leave things as they are.
Stuff wears out, or, i feel the need to change something to make the riding position suit me better.
I also have a knack of changing stuff because i justify it with "it was an absolute steal.. really good deal"

I'm going through a patch of self loathing at my body currently.
The moobs won't go away fast enough.. and i still want beer but i am riding more again.
A trip to lovely Scotland is motivating me :)

His is a 700c wheeled model. Has juicy 7's and rohloff hub.

Second hand trance 800 off southern downhill
They come up often, then spend some dosh on servicing the forks/shock and general consumables.

get it, split it and ebay it.
    Could probably make 100 profit.

You could always spend 2g on something modern where everything works and it does it without flinching and spares are easy to come by..
and its not just a garage queen/wall art.

Don't get me wrong 2 grand means more to some people than others. 2 grand would be useful to me at the moment.

Buy a second hand frame off someone who changes bikes every week on here… Chances are you'll get something just as steel and just as good.

buy some hope brakes, hope pro2 wheelset, set of revs and you have yourself a bike for about 700.

already got a bb sitting here..
may as well use it. This bike has shocked me into realising how much unused stuff i have lying about, least someone is going to benefit now

    depends on model…
first gen series two has spot welded brackets on the roof which allow a rack to be ancored.

We got ours for 30 quid in a french supermarket.

    Hope pro2 team trials thingy

my pals got the stuff because "it's a geet lush colour" Nowt to do with delusions of adequate riding ability.

my pal paid 60 for a front pro2 purely because it was team green…
the brakes tend to go for a tad over standard rrp..

stems are sometimes sold for the less than a brand new one in black.

    I like..
i'd also stick with your pro2s considering they're fairly light anyway and you can service them at home very easily.

If she complains she not used to using that arm all the time like my fav bar maid then it makes the evening all the more amusing.

    5/6 inches.
    fell fast on friday night.
Mostly spent day getting drunk, but snowy ride home was fun.

Hehe its brill when you first manage to do it.
I was'nt even thinking when i did it for the first time.
Thought it was superb when i first did it, then someone pointed out "you bunnyhop like an xc rider and thats the less rad way to do it"

I use a northface messenger that i bought at a certain large department store. was under 50 notes when i got it.

Available bright red or black and keeps the weather off your clean stuff rather well.

Borrow one off a mate to have a go with… cheaper than blowing 60 on one only to find out it does'nt suit you.

I bought some of the red/white and thats just about the best for making you shine like a shiny thing.

I've just bought some of the black and while it looks bling because you can't see it, it aint a patch on the in your face white/red 3M stuff..

Its really worth having on a commute bike, especially if your a tool like me and you get caught out with no lights once in a blue moon over summer.
Least theres something gonna help make you obvious.

My maxlight commuter there, it has black stuff on the frame, then the stuff in red on crank arms/fork lowers is 3m stuff.
The 3m stuff works way better.

The best way to think of it is try making your bike look as strange as possible.
Something that reflects back at drivers that is an odd shape/configuration or just extremely obvious is more likely to make you visible.

Certainly less chance of the old smidsy.

My buds dad has a lathe so he machined two gadgets which look rather like the parts you get on a "cyclo" one.

So two cones with stepped interfaces for different size cups.. then threaded bar..
few M nuts of appropriate size and for the sake of sharing it between us, new frames become less hassle.

Its great fun, don't take it too seriously… and also don't let yourself become the bitch of every bad driver. Keep your wits about you.

    Fitness will occur.
Make sure you smell good for your colleagues.

I've shafted the ex, woken up with less than respectable ladies..

    erm

oh and drunk chain reaction. There should be a special mode you can place the site into between certain times of the day.. i.e. the times you'll be pissed. It would fix many a broken home.
Why i thought i needed three identical rear led lights i do not know.. i had one bike at the time and never rode in the dark.
