A colleague has one on his cannondale badboy commuter.
he seems to use his all weathers, as a result he moves them on via ebay and maybe loses a tenner on each one.
I've seen one last 8 weeks with a cool rad dude using one.

Do what i do, strip naked in front of the Polish cleaner and lie on the floor before she does your office.
I'm the same colour as the floor in my work.

    Shower solution.

Consider the lack of maintenance/the conditions he was riding in non stop.
The forces because of the weight he was carrying.

And the fact that he probably did'nt choose the spec.

erm something like a specialized nimbus run at 30 psi would do everything.
It would do anything well, just everything in an average way.

I've got a set with ata running at 140mm. with quick release lowers. I'm very pleased with them. They've yet to give an issue after a month.

Do the servicing yourself, clean the crap off after a muddy ride and cycle them with some lube on the uppers then put the bike away.

might struggle to get the larger rear cogs but it would "work" as a bodge.

I's been done.. local lads who jump create all manner of franken forks..
32mm rockshox seem to mostly be interchangable. Hence the "Parglyes" on pinkbike photos.

both will function well.. your wallet will be lighter weight. That will only matter if you take it with you when riding.

    Thats my cynical response.

Mary bars for comfort and a spinny single speed setup for wizzing along easily with a hangover or a headwind.
The mary bars have magically cured the back ache i had been suffering for months.

Mix of continental/spesh fastish puncture resistant rubber and solid through axle cranks. Everything that has potential to fail is fairly tough, so, shimano bb, hope trials hub at rear – functions as a pedestrian moving device also.

is this not an elaborate way of advertising a frame you happen to be selling on ebay?

sell them as spares or repairs on the bay..
someone may want them for the lowers that way you recover something from them..
    then buy new.
CSU are something rediculous like 180 quid.

Few lads in gateshead are sound. Went in after pikes for a silly online price.
They were honest about the fact that they could'nt do it (out of stock) but suggested i get them on offer from the other retailer.

Also non aggressive shop floor patter. Suits me.
