    I'd build one.
Maxlight frame, revs/rebas and shop around for the best deals on the rest.
Could build something fast and light for that money no problem.

It would depend on what pressures you were likely to be running..
how anal you are about weight and possibly what happens to be in stock in your local shop.
Currently my rims have fibre glass tape in them which withstands pressure no problem, but, it's a bugger to remove.

I run some of the longer P2's on a maxlight.
Initially i found it far twitchier in the handling department.

Discontinued perhaps? I know my fury is.. it was'nt even on the booth at sea otter or most recent Taipai show so chances are it's being replaced.

it's a slopestyle frame. I'd suggest seeking advice of Mountain cycle website.
They have a forum full of owners
    ask them .

I have a mountain cycle fury, that is a different beast entirely though.

I'm a northerner so basically my "lethal" ride is dicing with back to front forked bike shaped objects mostly.
Not a heroic commute like you London folk.

Money does not afford you taste or dignity. Speaking of range rover sports and all of its type.. they're utterly pointless modes of transport really.
A large estate car or people carrier would do the people moving bit far better and you'd not be branded a drug dealing **** by the rest of the world.

I've run a pro2 trials with singlespeed cog for commuting.
Being a clumsy bastard i do wreck kit.
pro2 has behaved and builds into a strong wheel no probs.

*EDIT _ 14.15/16 whatever with spacer kit. – hope will look after you if you have any problems also.

Oh, and should you go a bit funny it will run 6 speed no probs.

Flog, buy a secondhand Kinesis Maxlight complete.
Chances are it'll have been owned by a Glentress mincer like me.

Are they really any better than a nice set of steel rigids like project 2 or the likes of.

Nice vibration damping, and, rack/mudguard mounts should your perversion dictate the need for those.

The lines are not a physical barrier, merely a guide and reminder that bikes require space.

Move on, continue with your life.
They'll continue to be stress heads.
The same sorts who feel they have to over take everyone just for the crack on the motorway, but, by the same token maybe you were slow, PEDAL DAMMIT! :)

    ****.

See if halfords would fix um/replace. Top cap coming off would cause some loss of oil. As far as i know they are related to marzochi so perhaps they're easily fixed.
Something i will say however is that you can quite possibly buy something to replace and improve performance outright from ebay cheaply.

Change your route or leave at a different time.
I once found there was a pattern in the traffic and how many confrontations i had depending on the time i was riding.

There are some serious penis size issues on this forum at times.

Also, ed bike. Newcastle store is my usual destination if i require something fast such as riding clothes or tyres.
Staff are always helpful, and conduct themselves in a sensible fashion.

I shop where ever it is easy to shop. My fellow shoppers have little bearing on the experience.
Waitrose i claim 15% partner discount so i instantly have good reason to shop there, i like the beer/wine range and fresh stuff tends to be brill.

Tesco, big/ or small convenience locally, and coop in my village.

As for only choosing a market because it fits in with the badge on the bonnet of car you drive etc. tosh.
