Novel idea.. measure the space… and run something slightly less than the space…
it really does'nt make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things.

I've got to the point now where it makes more sense buying cheap crap instead of expensive crap..
i currently frequent sports direct and buy airwalk baggies..
crap in the rain but they're cheap.

the answer for fast fork changes would be a split race, and a wheel ready fitted with 20 mm to the fork.

Just man up and run a decent ratio.
You'll soon develop a pair of engine turned legs and a larger than healthy appetite for retro jerseys.

As long as you don't have tonnes of play in the front end just leave the bugger alone and ride it.

A crown steerer unit is going to be spendy, so, get the bushings changed and carry on riding the bugger.

Also, as long as the fork is'nt leaking and you don't have problems with the fork sticking through its travel.. carry on as you were.

    hehe fun wee vid.

I'd quite like to carry a camera on my commute..
keep an album full of the greatest "titups" i.e. the bits where i miss the pedals, or fall over at some traffic lights.
    All superb.

Most commuting tyres if your daft will just be inappropriate but fun off road.

I use Spesh Armadillo Nimbus tyres and they are useless offroad but fun

Silly tyres can be fun, if the front is the issue something like a minion in the tackier compounds on the front would be grand.

I get on really well with eskars (specialized) on most surfaces.

oh and try dropping 5 psi…
quite often that can make a massive difference to some tyres.

When i first got some continental verticals they were awful, however, run tubeless at lower pressure they were superb.
