The video actually makes it appear as if he came round the corner fairly quickly.
The distance to the junction from the parked car means she probably moved out before he came around the corner driving defensively anticipating an oncoming car.

He’s a prize tool and could have handled that far better.

It really boils down to my mood.
I love sneaking a trip to Glentress in on a day off in an unplanned fashion with my bike still covered in the mud from a local trail ride.

But, equally riding somewhere fresh, of familiar with a few pals is always fun.
I like the fact that you push each other a bit, do stupid stuff, plus you have local knowledge from a few angles to piece together a route.
    All good.

it should be on the documents you signed when you picked the car up.
Failing that, call the finance company and ask if they can help you.

I was out riding this today. It’s an old steel Saracen frame that i picked up for 20 quid nos. And a set of nos 2002 bomber air forks on the front. Rides rather nicely.

It must be tough what with the lack of regard other road users have for

    A. personal safety.

    B. how difficult a drivers job is, meaning the fact that you cannot avoid stuff as quickly or easily.

what sort of bearings have you used to replace the originals?

I managed to steal an hour at Thrunton woods near Morpeth.

Empty car park, empty trails… was breathing out of my bum hole.

Would need to swap the bushings around so things match. I’m guessing the front wheel is not hope pro 2?
otherwise hub spacer change is only 20 odd quid.

The ST has bulky Recaro seats which give less rear leg room than on the zetec s.
Oh, and cash purchase or not Ford have the £1250 Deposit allowance on 2014 cars.
Borrow £2500 on HP over 24 months, 1 payment of £120.79 then pay it off. might allow you to get a few extras on the car for the same amount from your employer.

The Focus 1.6 ecoboost is your car if you ask me.
Quick enough for real world driving and the ride is far nicer on bad roads.
The ST will be poorer on fuel, and the seats take up loads of interior space.

Can’t comment on the drive of the Audi.

Another vote for Bettablast in shiremoor.
Local to me, and good quality work.
    They do all sorts.

Am i alone in just fitting a tyre front and back and riding round the slight flaws in that paticular design
I used to spend fortunes on stuff that was ‘fast rolling’ or ‘light’ but now 10 quid an end and contain air is about all i’m bothered about.

    rewski, yes, gap trail.

I know it does’nt look that “rad” but my first taste of bigger terrain.
So I enjoyed it a lot.
Seemed hard as nails for a first timer on my hardtail at the time.
Really enjoyed it, and riding stuff like that for a few days made my local trail centres feel pretty tame when i was back home afterwards.

For me the Brecons was beautiful, then again any trail where you feel good and the bike feels good is beautiful! That is after all what it’s about.

    Dual position convert here..
I fitted the spring instead of a uturn spring.
    Works very well.
Can be added to any of the coil forks easily.

I used to be an obsessive tyre swapper. I then ran eskars as they were reasonably priced and durable (folding 2bliss 2.2) then after that i’ve gone with the Purg. same size and very very impressed.
For info i’m riding a 456 with longish forks on trail centre stuff and moors xc type rides.

Tad slower to get moving when your legs are tired than light easily damaged xc rubber i’ve used in past, but, i’d rather not have to stop to change tubes.

Fit, forget and enjoy the trails.

Full guards, good bag that ensures your work shirt stays in good nick on ride in and a comfy riding position.
Having a couple of non bike days means you can change the suits you keep at work then you look forward to the next bike commute.

Before I changed jobs I was commuting 10 miles from coast to newcastle on a singlespeed.
It kept the monotonous nature of the route interesting and i got fitter.

Charge Duster steel around 2005, jack of all master of none.

Kinesis Maxlight xc120, noodle flex fest.

But anything with two wheels is still brilliant.

4000 from a dealer could be the “average cond” value from cap/glass at the dealership in question.
4900 from Wbac will surely be chipped down a tad.
Go back to the garage if they have what you want make them work for you.

What are you trying to buy?

Ah, you have experienced first hand (well arse) CSAS Charge-spoon-arse-syndrome.

I general get that by day three of a 5 day riding holiday.
    Savlon is the cure.

Saddles are a mixed bag, as someone above has already said spesh ones do a nice job.
Get your but measured on the ass-ometer in shop and go from there.

    My old’s have one.
They went from a new shape Berlingo to a c3 picasso 1.6 hdi.
They have the 90 hp one and it’s rather nice. Smooth, good on diesel and comfy on a longer run. Quite nippy as it’s started to run in.
    Make sure you try one.

I use them all the time at work.
The 2.0 140 diesel would be my pick if you are buying a later car.
Avoid the daft titx sport with its wings and skirts, plus the larger wheels ruin the ride.
Be sensible and go for a standard titanium model. Try find somewhere who has some pre reg, or ford direct stock.

I asked for a frame to be done by my local Bettablast of Shiremoor.

They’re easily reached from the a19 on the outskirts of Newcastle.

They did get very close, ended up more a normal yellow. Same powder issue i think.

I’d buy the mag that prints reviews like that, although I’m sure it was called Dirt last time I checked (and thanks) It’s not often something tangible that feels right on a bike so i think you’ve summed that up well

We ride with a guy who has zero spatial awareness (mtb) we just continue to tell him he rides like a tool.
    It sort of sinks in.
