Lidl orange discount stickers are down to 20% and 50% from 30% and 60%. They’re that tight that the Silver Street Edmonton branch they’ve put 20% ones over 30% ones. TBH I thought that was illegal.

I’ve got a set that have the reference numbers that means that they warrant being inspected. Can someone DM me the name of dealer somewhere near North London with the same attitude as Mapdec please? Don’t want to get them put on Shimano’s shitlist.

Find an early printing of Richard’s Bicycle Book  – the later editions had his solution involved a pump edited out.

Don’t drive or have much interest in cars  but these 3 idiots have been making me laugh for over a third of my life (I’m 63). Genuinely sad that they have gone their separate ways. Really enjoy Clarkson’s Farm and Hammond’s Workshop.  James May’s Japan was OK but didn’t like the  Italy series, will give the India one a go. Here’s hoping that it’s not the last time they’re on screen together.

Used to work with a bloke who would straighten a paperclip out, mine for earwax with it and then eat what he’d dug out. Even the excavation part looked terrifying enough!

On the plus side,  he’d quite often suck an Aspirin for dessert  – totally understand that one.

Didn’t the powers that be grab a shed load of money and assets off a bunch of Putin’s mates a little while ago? Surely we could dip into that a bit, or has that mysteriously disappeared?

Rocking them “hard” with your hands is not putting anywhere near the same amount of force through it as pedalling will do.

Why has nobody mentioned Worx? The strimmer, hedge cutter,  reciprocating saw all work fine for me with no issues.

Ever fallen in lunch (with someone you shouldn’t have fallen in lunch with).

The things we do for lunch.

    Can’t buy me lunch.

Had some in North London about a week ago but nothing like the amount from a few years ago.  It’s quite normal to have more than one instance of flying ant day in any given Summer IME.

“The driver has been told to wait at this stop for a few minutes to even out the service ” 3 ******* stops before the end of the route.

Not just longer but less gaps between them on a smart TV making it borderline unwatchable.  Ad-free on the laptop through  Chrome with Ublock Origin and Adblock installed 😎

My 75mg blood thinner Aspirin packs are a challenge unless you leave your fingernails untrimmed. Also, the uncoated chalky horse pill sized choke hazard Metformin I sometimes get lumbered with. They’re even more of a bugger to swallow once they’re Heimliched up all soggy 🤬🤬🤬

Woolly Hat Shop or Bikeparts (same firm) got a few 11spd  in stock at £56.99 and 12spd at £82.99 if you buy direct from them – slightly more expensive if you go via their Amazon or eBay shops.

There’s an Elizabeth Line station in Woolwich – whether that will be open on marathon day is another question.

Won an auction on their eBay outlet store – got an email from Evri last night at 8:45 (which I didn’t see for a couple of hours) saying “delivered” with a photo of a parcel by a door but NOT MY F******* DOOR! Issue raised with Evri 🤬🤬🤬

Bought PS4 Pro upgraded to 2tb SSD with 14 games and 3 controllers off eBay for £205. Seems to be in really good nick. Just have to sort through the listings for what looks like a decent deal.

Unbelievable – just popped back to have a look at the progress and ransos has voiced almost my exact views on Satan’s spunk even down to one of the “so called” abusive things I call it. Still compiling my list.

McEwan’s Champion in bottles is absolutely gorgeous, but in a can it’s barely drinkable – desperation stakes only.
