Have the 2012 pro ht and l am very impressed so far. I have had no issues at all so far, the bike is shared by me and my son as a second bike and as such gets a fair bit of use. The bulld quality is good and the spec level is right up there, as for the bb30 l strippeed mine from new regreased everything and reassembled and have had no problems

I passed my test many years ago and bought a gsxr 750 as my first bike.I was stationed in Germany with the military police at the time.Within 3-4 months I would patrol our area on a police bike.I travelled all over europe on my 750 following Carl foggerty at super bike events. On moving back to the uk I had a raced tuned ducati superlite and a bimota db2,in all my time on these bikes I was never out of my depth or control.Buying what ever bike is a personal choice because an arsehole on a small powered bike is still an arsehole. You can learn on a big bike just use your common sense .something lacking here maybe. As for experiance many miles or years dont always make a good rider

You only see one line when night riding and are more focused on it,rather than daylight were there might be 3 or 4 lines to confuss you.

Lots of kids up here night ride,We find its easier if you make no big thing of it and do a ride they know backwards. My own son will be doing his second puffer next week.First when he was 12.This year there is even a younger team(they have an adult rider with them ,and are allcapable of riding the course)

Just ridden the possible sortened lap.37mins and only 20-30 metres of walking.Normal puffer lap time for me 40 mins.In these conditions short lap was still tough going when of the fire road.Stray of the centre, bye bye front wheel.Decent from veiw rock was great ,hardpacked all the way to the finish and riding very fast.Spiked tyres don`t you just love em.

Hi jo, you head up from carpark as normal, turn right ono the single track. follow the singletrack for a few hundred metres to a junction, turn right at junction instead of straight on(don`t rejoin fireroad).follow up hill to veiw rock, desend to carpark……simples Fireroad above that not cleared and same for top of course

    andyruss

Course update, lower half now ridable (carpark up to veiw rock ,down decent to car park).Upper fire road cleared next week hopefully.Worst thing that can happen now is a thaw, turn every thing to ice
