Sounds like copycat language to me from something they watched, something you watched, a song, an advert, who knows. Small people are VERY susceptible to marketing!

Typical teacher nanny state over reaction. My son is autistic, when in mainstream he got depicted as Damian. In special needs schools, he’s an angel with rough edges.

You know what’s right and wrong. Let small person know. Move on.

Purple foaming puke fountain is a phrase I will try to fit into as many days as I can from this day forward.

don’t let your dog drink sea water on a crowded beach in Cornwall (it creates a reaction similar to mentos and coca-cola (from the back end)). Apparently most parents fail to see the funny side of the jet propelled Labrador spraying everyone in sight.

I suspect that quite a few people think the little blue light on their dashboard is for winter lights.

    Now I’m lost.

There are mavic enduring wheels going cheap on crc.

But I know nothing about this 142 standard thing. Got bored after headsets got complicated beyond reasonable variations.

So, in short. Is that wheel set going to fit my 135 based rear end?

Has to be a Krampus. Then you can go fat or not, with no issues, and it is a barrel of fun to boot

Oh dear deity I don’t believe in! mikewsmith is right.

Refund the full flight cost would have been fair compensation. Otherwise we will suffer more stickers on our world and spoke reflectors and naff bells on handlebars.

We do not live in the US of A where most everyday actions could apparently leave you being sued.

Let’s take responsibility for our actions and not view stupidity, mistakes or weather as potential gravy trains.

It’s down to legislation like this that makes land owners take down trails and limit access. Let’s take a stand for doing what’s right, not what we profit from most ( in the short term)

There is limited sand on the Hanpshire coast, but in land there is sand…Frensham Ponds (ok just inside Surrey) Bordon and all of the other military sandy locations including Tunnel
    hill and Yately.

I’d say that the south west corner of the New Forest would be good. Fritham to Red Shoot and limited bogs to worry about all the way to Sandy Balls (sniggers)

Personally, I’m going to travel to Studland and ride the beaches as well as Frank’s Tank.

Or try the sandy stuff at Matchams be Ringwood. Lots to explore on a fat bike it seems….

I’ll set up a scrap book for the Balance bike. I am sure it will be equally appreciated by all those that ride it.

I will do all bearings with some special grease I got from a bearings shop. It’s the stuff they put on boat trailers that get dipped in the brine.

Rickmiester, you are right. The only change I need will be better brakes, just because I prefer hydraulic for better clearance as well as stopping power

    Hi Mick, how are you?

The balance bike has done its job. It’s been to Wales and France on various adventures. His present for Christmas is a 14″ Pugsley (shhhhhh). His school teacher is going to teach him to ride in parallel to me, so I’m getting very excited about the next step…

Perhaps one day soon we will be riding on a beach together.

I am going to donate the balance bike to his school, which is a specialist school for moderate to severe special needs.

I have to admit that the Wednesday is such fun to ride. I was mentally writing a review in my head saying “It’s appalling how such a fun bike can come from simple steel tubes. There are no exotic materials. It’s criminal! How could a bike so simple be this good”

I fell off in loose sand in the dunes and laughed out loud.

I also was finding myself going ‘wow’ and other noises as I rode along the low tide harder sand whilst white horses raged a few feet to my right and a cloud of sand made patterns in front of me as I rode down wind.

Only question is boingy fork or no.

Chaps, Welsh roads favour all bikes. Sheep slow you down, but the Tarmac is worth the trip, I suggest our northern chapter could join us for an adventure, and then we can have a south to north trip too?
