So far SC UK have been agreeable and fair. I’ll post the story as it unfolds…

For those with Blur LT2s… Go out to your bike and take a close look at the seat stay…

It’s a longer warranty I think. Mine is 3yrs old, but ‘as new’.

It just had its bearings done too, by Santa Cruz UK (which pissed off my LBS but Im sure they will be sighing with relief when they see it in the morning).

I’m not blaming SCUk for the bearing issue, but I think it might be tha cause as the bearing is really stiff. I’m sure it stressed the seat stay to the point of catastrophic failure.

I’ll look into headsets…just bought the lyrics recently, which made the bike a total hoot!

Last night I watched V for Vendetta that Id recorded the other evening.

What an AWESOME film! Probably one of the best films Ive ever watched.

it is my favourite film! Only shame was the unnecessary superhero battle at the end…

It makes me mad that this sort of thing happens. To make it worse our community shrinks.

Badly done to all those involved in causing offence!

thunderbird is an email application you can download for free, and is a pretty good app.

2, There are these interweb robots right? They like nothing better than fill in forms to get into websites and cause havoc.

That funny text confuses them and stops them getting in…

Secondary spot/s mounted to fork somehow thus at least turning with steering?

    searching….

I’m thinking on the base of the helmet. The only potential issue then would be glare from the screen. Helmets these days have integrated batteries and bluetooth kits, so I can’t see why this isnt possible.

I wondered about that too, but it would only need to be dipped strength only in regards to Lumens, and if it was mounted in a way that didn’t offer neck twisting issues in an off, it could be reliant upon a flood of the beam pattern rather than aiming a spot. If that makes sense….

It could be minimal like your liberator, and mount from the chin bar possibly?

I’ve seen that bike. It scares me 😯

Its huuuuuuuuge! Its sooooooo fast, and probably doesn’t like cities.

Not my cuppa, but it is a clever headlight.

but they will still point into the hedge, however bright they are….so it just seems like a good idea….but it would mean integrating them into a helmet.

But I was thinking in terms of looking in the direction of a sharp corner, whilst my lights point towards the hedges…

So that should help drivers to stop like driving cocks, so what would you plan to do with the bikers who ride like cocks?

Darwin’s law will take care of this issue

Waste of time and money, unless you ride a bike regularly in 5 years’ time it’ll be forgotten.

But that’s five years of less likehood of accidents in general, so would have already saved lives

    Gary_M – Member
So should all motorcyclists sit a driving test?

Why not? Or at least a sim. The issues of blind spots is worth ramming home, but this is covered in the CBT, and awareness of the lack of sight of a bike is covered extensively in the modern bike training. If we are talking about nirvana, then RSPA or IAM advanced riding should be compulsory too

I ride a bike with gears and one with one, a motorbike, drive a car, and own a dog that poops in parks, which I remove to poop bins in little plastic bags.

    My point?

    The best solutionL

    Nigella Lawson’s book: Feast

Shedbrewed, I’m glad you’re feeling better!

I was commenting to a friend that the sheep in the Brecons seem to have better road-sense than most of the Hampshire Locals.

If nothing else, being led round your roads is a damn fine excuse for a ride in the Spring 😀

Superfli will have time to see sense and buy the only reliable solution:
