Last time we met at the services on the English side of the Severn Bridge (the old one) and then rode in to deepest darkest Wales. Single will be fine. My bike won’t go past 150 Miles unles I’m on a motorway.

Had a mix of bikes last time too.

I remember asking the verderers about bikes on the forest quite a few years ago when I lived in the Forest, and the answer I got was:

aka-Gilo…any chance you can map out the route again and be guide? You did such a fine job last time. As the light is longer we can get deeper into the countryside, and I don’t mind (personally) riding back in the dark once back in England…

The weather is currently fab, and the clocks spring forward at the end of next week. How about next saturday? 31st March?

2inches of snow at frimley and 4hrs of cold but great fun. Some interesting moments, but a goodun all he same.

Ride somewhere different. If you know the places that cause the fear, you are going to build up mental blocks to riding them. Ride somewhere new or do your route in reverse.

No harm in taking the time to analyse the bits that scare you, but just remember that over thinking a problem will make it more of an issue. Relax and enjoy. Also, generally speaking, if you can hold a line that means the wheels are aligned, the bike will naturally work for you. Just make sure your centre of gravity is in the right place.

Go ride and enjoy …you’ll feel better.

I like riding bikes. My dilemma is more about what I’ll get the most out of for the week i’m there. If I bought a DH bike it would get used now and then, so just wanting to find out if I bought a well used/loved dh bike, would I enjoy that more than taking chunks out of my ltc?

I’m running 160 lyrics and I love pointing downhill, but I’m no Peaty….mores the pity

I think it will be gravity riding, but I could be tempted to do an alpine xc day if routes were available, but I have no idea on that…

It was 3 maids hill for the action shots, and the group photos were taken on the edge of Crab Wood.

Wishing all absent riders were with us on the day and will make the next ride as available to all as we can.

Well my blur lt went snap, but that’s another story. It was a great frame! The blur ltc that replaced it is stiffer, and feels more lively. It weighs slightly less but the stiffness difference is massive!

I would highly recommend plastic.
