Bensales; I know exactly what I’m talking about, I’m simply asking out of curiosity if a work place can ban certain foods. Also, I’d made an educated guess that it was in reference to a severe allergy that someone suffers from, but thanks for your input. Ironically, if the TV advert is anything to go by, you should eat a Snickers.

Yes, I had considered someone may have an allergy; thank you captain obvious.

For the record I’m not planning on hospitalising someone with a Snickers, just wondered if they can technically ban certain foods in a workplace.

Had a digit up the jacksy in my late 20s after I noticed blood in my pee. Nothing to it, although I was desperate for a dump at the time so I dread to think what the tide marks on the docs glove would have been like.

However, a camera stuffed down my knob end all the way in to my bladder was the worst pain I’ve ever felt, I swear the camera had barbs on!

David, my missus offered to do that, no idea why!

Bruneep, aye the bolts were taken out when I plumbed it in. We’ve been persevering with it but now looking at getting a new kitchen so want to get it sorted.

Alan, I suspected something like that would be a possible solution. Has it made a big difference for your daughter?

Sorry to hijack your thread, was just about to start one then saw this! Looking to head to the Golfie fit the first time this weekend, but I’ve only ever ridden Inners starting from the car park at the bottom of the DH runs. How do I get across to the trails that’ll be rideable? Cheers!

Cheers for all the replies, think we’ll stick with NowTV for the time being, especially as I went to cancel my movies pass and they’ve done it cheaper for 4 months, excellent tip!

Only just got round to checking this thread, thanks for the bump :)

Looking to get out tomorrow to explore if anyone else is about? No idea where I’ll be starting or where I’ll be going at the mo!

I bought an Aeris without a test ride as I’m in the north of Scotland and Swinley forest is a long old drive!

The guys at Bird were more than happy to put up with my ridiculous questions, advised me on the right size given my measurements, and I’ve ended up with an amazing bike for a brilliant price! Could not be more happy with mine, it’s so well balanced, climbs brilliantly and descends even better.

The warranty is also a big bonus, but I don’t plan on selling the bike any time soon so the transferable bit of it might not be of any use to me!

Fair point, I should have been more specific haha! I’ll be in the north east.

I’m contemplating starting a degree with th OU later in the year so this thread could be very helpful for me! I’m a mechanical technician by trade but looking at doing Environmental Science as it interests me a lot more than an engineering degree. I’m not too arsed if it gets me rich, I’m doing it to prove to myself that I can more than anything else. I also have no idea what I actually want to do with the rest if my life (I’m 30 at the mo) as in about 6 months I’m leaving my current job (contract ending) and have no idea what I want to do…

With that in mind, am I wasting my time and money?

We’ve got a Ghost Corn who’s just over a year old and a Common Boa who’s around a year old. Can’t upload pictures at the mo, but they’re awesome! The corn is an incredible eater, much less fussy than our boa which is strange!

Sounds like I’m not alone in this misery which is nice to know! Presumably no one has found a suitable (practical) solution?

Thanks for the response :) I’m not licensed, and it’s not Aberdeen I’m at, but not far off…think a bit further northwest along the coast, maybe an hour or so. I’ve accepted a pay cut is a distinct probability, but it’s not all about the money for me :)

How do you find offshore work with the shift rotation and such like? In an ideal world I’d be onshore but that’s not set in stone.

Cheers for the help guys. Identified the BB I need and they’re out of stock everywhere, apparently Silverfish can’t get hold of them to import any at the mo. Bit the bullet and bought a Hope one instead, never mind eh?!

    Many thanks Edward :) so if it’s 30mm it’s not a BB30 thingy then? That’s the route I was going down…

I was meant to race it, spanked my shoulder pretty hard on Saturday in practice on stage 4, was in a lot of pain yesterday so I knobbed it off. Awesome trails, shame it was so sloppy :(

Ooh, we have a Sony TV so I’ll have to have a gander. No fibre optic broadband here though :(

Have a look on Amazon for stuff from Deyard or Smatree. I’ve had mounts from both with no issues at all. The Smatree batteries are meant to be better than the official gopro ones if you’re needing extra batteries.

Cheers all, some really helpful info there :) I am indeed looking at car camping, mostly for race weekends tbh. At the end of a race run, I hate messing about trying to put a tent away, I want to just fold it up and get on the road, so a pop up seems ideal. If it sucks, I’ll go back to one of my others.

As for camping mats, if I’m carrying my kit and wild camping I just use a roll mat. Blow up air bed things are bloody awful, hence wanting to try a self inflating one, as I’ve heard good things.

I’ll have a scour of the interweb for some deals!

Saracen Myst Pro, the very similar spec bike was winning Pearce and BDS races/series, it’s a no brainer to me! Mine is due for delivery next week, can’t bloody wait!

Wild camping will be a last resort, I was hoping to at least get a shower to thaw out on a campsite.

I have bad experiences of camping in Selkirk haha, so I’ll leave that one, thanks though!

Shortbread, no can do, it’ll be dull kit only :(

Jimmy, presumably the usual kit will suffice, waterproof, spares, food/gels/liquid, pump etc?

Damn it, I’m trying to convince the wife that we shouldn’t get a second dog, and then you post pictures of a puppy! It’s a conspiracy! Absolutely cracking spaniel that!

My tip, as people have already mentioned, would be to socialise her as much as possible. People, dogs, cats, cars, bikes, postmen, get her used to be around everybody and everything!! Our collie was 15 months when we rescued him, he’d never been socialised, and we’re still having trouble with him being overprotective etc 3 years later. He’s improving, but if he’d been socialised as a puppy we wouldn’t have anywhere near as many issues with him barking/going absolutely mental at things.

    Good luck!
