Bloody hell, what have Middlesborough done wrong??

    Exist.

How can anyone hate Man City? They’re just worthy of pity and ridicule; a bit like Newcastle, but with more cash. And at least City’s fans are (on the whole) fairly realistic about how sh1t they are.

Liverpool and Middlesborough, on the other hand, truly do suck the devil’s cock.

a section of very, very secret singletrack at Hamsterley, well away from the trailbuilders and the hordes.

Aye, Panesar should have been in the team, for all 3 tests so far. Crazy going onto those pitches with only one spinner – even worse to have Sidebottom playing and Panesar not.

oh and another thing, isn’t it all a bit weird, this hounding of the wrongdoer shit that is so popular on this forum?

it certainly is. But it’s just what you expect from some of the Daily Mail-esque numpties on here. Probably if someone said they were a paediatrician, they’d find their house petrol-bombed.

Then I will only pull girls who have slightly manly ankles and think wearing body warmers is ‘cool’.

Still, it’d be a start, right Hora?

    Chili chocolate iw wrong. FACT.
glad to see that my opinions are generally the complete opposite to peterpoddy’s. Chilli chocolate is ace.

And Lindt chilli chocolate really needs much more chilli in it. It’s really quite bland.

anyway can I go back to my original assumption that

Baggies are the off road version of shaving your legs

surely shaving your legs is the off road version of shaving your legs?

if you want to look like a clown or one of those annoying runts skateboarding around shopping centres, then yeah, baggies are probably better…

Got my first mtb in 1992 but riding offroad lots before then. Got through a fair number of road bike rims though.

given the standard of some of the suggestions last week, I’m sure that Ellen (in rare non-weeping photo) will float some people’s boats. [shudder]

As for the helmet, it’s probably not as light/well ventilated/good looks as the more expensive stuff from proper manufacturers. These guys actually do the research then some pikey outfit copies the shape and material, and just has production and distribution costs to cover, rather than any dev work.

[NTW argument mode on] nonsense. It’s made of the same stuff, ergo it is as good.Don’t come here with your fancy talk about R&D, ventilation etc. [/NTW argument mode off]

Has a thread on singletrack changed your opinion on a subject about which you had previously made up your mind?
Yes. I used to have a fairly positive attitude towards people I’d not met or spoken to before. Now I realise that the majority of them are cocks. ;)

When I was an undergrad…there was some ace stuff up behind the Uni science site; and a small but perfectly formed set of ace trails behind the bus depot. May have all changed in the past 14 years of course..

Agreed – the majority of the time I’ve dealt with Hope, they’ve been fantastic.

I guess the bloke I spoke to a few years ago about my Mono Minis had just found a large dog egg in his packed lunch.

with the exception of the ridiculously crap Kinesis Maxlight XC, I’ve loved every bike I’ve ever ridden, back to the age of 3. No matter what they were, or what other people had, I had a bike. And that **** rocked.
