For example, the references in the above post to

    the filth

    Beelzebub’s lot

    the scum

    scumchester

I’d love it if he took them down, I’d love it!

shows that football is a violent and brutish sport,

it does? blimey. And there was me just thinking that most of those comments were just widely accepted nicknames. A bit like how many people on STW don’t have their real names as their user names. Does this show that STW is a violent and brutish forum?
I’d love to know how you managed to work football violence into this thread. Hang on, you worked football violence AND the Nazis into this thread. This shows that you area a violent and brutish person. etc.

She’s usually very good, despite having a face like a smacked arse.
Good at the horsey stuff, granted. **** hopeless whenever she’s given any other sport to work on. Unless it’s unleashing those big farmers’ hands on some nubile bit of briffit, I guess.

Jebus but the filth are having some serious luck this season. I thought you only got this sort of thing in the CL usually?!

(totally deserved, of course. But if there’s one team you can guarantee will score in the last seconds having hit the woodwork 4 times, it’s Beelzebub’s lot…)

same riderz who dont take off mudguardz for the summer,
surely anyone who has mudguards in the first place, whether they take them off in summer or not, is a numpty and quite possibly would wear Ron Hills at all times?

had SL1, now got SL2. SL2 much better. Neither have much penetration though, very flood-y. Fine when combined with a decent spot

Aye. Slow, ponderous, should be in a canal for best results.

A grown man watching eastenders, that’s enough to make me weep. +1. Jebus, I know there’s no decent TV these days but surely you could spend your evening picking fluff out of your belly button or some other such exciting hobby…

hmm…foaming at the mouth on a threshold test around 05:20. Followed by a change of clothing/bikes and into work. Breakfast didn’t touch the sides

I’d expect to get a good 25,000km out of most stuff but tend to change the chain every 10k or so.

So what we are experienceing is a good level of service when the there is a close customer / supplier relaitonship – one that only exists in small environments that allow trust and responsibility to grow.

Either that, or some people give a sh1t about their jobs more than others. We’re in a small environment where everyone knows each other and helps each other out. But the grumpy fecker we have as a postman seems to be the exception to this village community feel. The PO themselves are fab, btw.

posties dont knock on doors do they? IME they fill out the form in the car so they dont have to carry the parcel and you’re forced to go to the depot
At least he fills in the form. We usually have to go to the Post Office when we’re expecting a parcel and ask if there’s anything for us.

he knows there’s rarely anyone in to sign for a parcel, so when we get one he delivers it to my mom’s house instead.
crikey – that is impressive. Does the Royal Mail pay for the transatlantic flight or does that come out of his own pocket? 😉

very easy. What the deer is doing on your bike in the first place is a different matter.

For the last few months each week I have been buying Heat Magazine and Hello. Been missing Blighty a bit and I’ve been really getting into the stories and gossip. They are actually a really good read before anyone gets on my case. A really nice way to unwind.
Doesn’t count if it’s after midday

then when they get too heavy, whack ’em in a trailer.
Then when they start walking, give ’em a Rothan.

it’s always more difficult to sell a leasehold property, but buying one you o get more for your money.
Whilst your evil legal type is doing all their stuff on the purchase, get them to look into buying out the lease…

yes, yes you should. definitely. But get a proper road bike, none of this flat bar/disc nonsense.
