Happy St Georges day everyone. Don’t worry, Guiness will sponsor it next year so that the nay-sayers can get involved!! 🙂

I can spare a smidge, but that’s all it deserves!

I’m currently consumed with pride and genuine optimism at how my team is playing and how my club is being run. 🙂

More of a fist of the CL than any other premiership club?

Bayern is the first decent team you have faced. One game where you played ok and Moyes is a European tactical genius.

Liverpool have a great opportunity this season but it is far from their one big chance. Enjoy channel 5 next season. If you finish high enough…….. 😆

An update for future thread readers!

Bought an RP23 from CRC after a chat with Loco (who was extremely helpful). It’s an M M tune with 200 psi boost valve setting and a high volume can.

First ride today. Running 30% sag which is a little more than I ran previously. It certainly has more support in the mid-stroke, a better pedal platform and the bike feels more lively particularly on jumps. So far so good and a bargain at £135 with the code.

What about an RP23 with an air volume reducer in the can? Should make it more progressive and stop it blowing through too easily, shouldn’t it?

They are £135 on CRC at the moment!

Cheers for that. Certainly another option to consider.

That’s interesting. I’ve heard good things about avalanche. How much is that setting you back if you don’t mind me asking?

Thanks for the replies. I’ll make some phone calls to the pros and see what they reckon. I think a custom tuned, new RP23 may be worth a try.

Give over will you. Cantona assaulted a fan, Keane broke a player’s leg on purpose ending his career, Rooney shagged a granny. This could go on forever. They are footballers. Some of them do very silly things sometimes. We aren’t talking about that. We are talking about how well Liverpool are playing at the moment.

For me watching my team playing so well is fantastic. Even when we concede we create so many chances going forward you are confident of winning. I hope we can win the title but whatever happens it’s been a fantastic season. Genuine optimism for Liverpool fans at last!

I have a 2006 9-5 Aero estate. No problem at all with servicing and spares. Lots of independents and online specialists supplying parts. 2.3 HOT turbo goes like stink! A hell of a lot of car for the money.

The Glazers have already offset the financial loss of not being in the CL? Yeah right.
If they could make so much money playing exhibition matches in the summer they would have been doing it anyway and so would many other teams with huge international fanbases. Plus you’ll be playing the Europa qualifiers in July.

Whichever way you cut it Utd are at least £25 million down due to not qualifying.

I fear that story has been put out there to placate an already dis-illusioned fanbase.

Still, you might win it this year…………

As above. Yellow tape, valves and stans fluid. They are very good tubeless on flows.

I just hope this win doesn’t undermine Utd’s chances of getting into the Europa league next season and starting the qualifiers in July. 😆

How long do you have to eat for or how many burgers are you aiming for? Prepare to feel very ill from quantity and (lack of) quality! 🙂

    Edit – doh too slow!

I can highly recommend Tom. Very nice guy and an effective coach. Having been to Tony Doyle (Jedi) then Tom I would find it very difficult to decide where to go for another session. I would say they are equally good. Chicksands is a great place to learn and Tom certainly improved my skills.

As perspective has been mentioned I’ll just point out that Ashley Young is the most prolific diver in the Premier league. Funny how Mancs always feel the need to mention Suarez and diving. (Yes he is bad but he is second to Young in the diving stakes).

Like I said, Boo Hoo. There’s some spilt milk needs mopping up over there. It’s not down to anyone but those who voted for him.

Trail Team Swinley FB states that the blue is closed, red is open and ok apart from a couple of sections. I’m sure there will be enough open to be worth a ride. I’m going tomorrow as I’m local so I’ll let you know.

edit – from FB 3 days ago

“Blue remains closed although work is ongoing to repair the damage. It is being significantly hampered by people riding it though. PLEASE STAY OFF THE BLUE!

Red remains open; hard work but mostly rideable. Red sections 1 (Tank Traps) and 8 pt 2 (Seagull middle section) are closed , Red 20 (Deerstalker) is closed, but the other trails there remain open, Red 22 (Mint Sauce) has a fallen tree blocking the start, Red 23 is slightly diverted at the start, and the fire roads are pretty boggy for good measure.”

I would always use sealant or you lose the ability to self seal if you have a puncture.
