We have a night in Calgary before we pick up the RV. Also we are looking at sites with more space between plots so far. Thanks for the replies

I am into week 5 of a bad cough. Had two different courses of anti-biotics and it seemed to improve but didn’t go.

Last Friday morning was coughing hard and my airway wouldn’t re-open properly. 10 secs of gasping and trying not to panic….

Went to a&e as I don’t believe you take a risk with airways.

Had full bloods and a chest x-ray.

Was told no sign of infection, clear x-ray and I had probably coughed so much something in my chest was now in spasm when I cough.

I was given codeine linctus as a cough supressent.

Over a week later and it is no better. Woke up at 0230 last night and coughed so much I couldn’t breathe…..worrying.

As an aside I now know 4 people with a similar severe cough. Something certainly seems to be going around!

Binners….the epitome of the sad bitter Manc, has far more to say about Liverpool than his own dire lifeless team….still, really cool that you like Greggs…..

I went the last week of September 2017 which is the last week of the tourist season. Weather was generally very good. One day of rain but we went sight seeing in Bonifacio. Stayed just outside Sartene. Can highly recommend walking to the waterfalls at Purcarraccia.

I can’t comment specifically on the coaching but I have ridden with Alex whilst he was guiding with The White Room. He is a nice guy and a very good rider. I would have no hesitation in doing some skills training with him.

    Hope that helps?

Went to Hamsterley and did the red route for the first time. Beautiful day up there and enjoyed the trails, particularly the newly built stuff.

Unfortunately this is on the rise due to penalties for knife crimes being increased. It needs a legislative response in my opinion…

Avoid Ryelands and Skerton mate. Two of the worst areas in the city. Personally I would live on the south side, nearer to the Uni. It is less affordable for a reason! Scotforth, Greaves, Bowerham, Bailrigg (right next to the Uni), Barton Road, top of Hala Hill is ok. Area around Williamson’s Park is nice. Hope that helps.

Try “Mikkeller and Friends” Bar just off Laugavegur . The bar on the top floor has somewhere between 30 and 40 different ales and an extremely knowledgable barman to talk you through them. Unfortunateley we only found it on the way home on our last night. Second the GrillMarket for food too. The tasting menu is superb and great value compared with the price of main meals.

On a serious note. I had the same situation in the Alps on Xt’s so upgraded to Zees which I find much better. Any reason you need saints over zees?

Could try the new Hope Fanboi V6 Evos?

Only £700 but will last several millenia with minimal servicing using the easily sourced parts.

Great “feel” too. Less “on / off” than shimano…… 🙂 🙂

I see all the Mancs have come out of the woodwork to have a pop just because he is an ex-Liverpool manager. How did you enjoy last night boys? 🙂

Pretty much the same as Senor J. 3 and a half weeks now and developed into a chest burning cough to go with headaches, dizzyness, lethargy and fever. Second trip to GP today having been told “these things can linger” a week and a half ago. I really need to be 100% for work and want to make sure there is nothing more sinister lurking in the background!

I had an RP23 push tuned. Made a massive difference to my Nomad. You need to know what you want though. I asked for it to be plush in open mode but a firmer pedal platform in closed mode. They did exactly as I asked! Well worth it in my opinion as they will set up the shock for your weight and bike too.

I thought the point was increased stiffness/strength for a given weight as opposed to just being light. You’d do well to go much lighter and still have a wheelset that will take a battering I reckon.

My monarch RT does that on my Reign. Read elsewhere that it is due to the negative air chamber and not an issue???

This year I got hammered, missed my last train home and slept at Waterloo until the first train. Got home at 6.30am somehow missing my watch. In the dog house big time and had a three day hangover. Still it is Christmas!! 🙂

That is the new rrp so no rush. Some retailers are just slow to adjust. Certainly quite tempting at that price. May well come up in a deal soon though.

I had a look at Bike24 and went for a Magic Mary 650b in the end. £32 delivered seems a bargain at current uk prices.

I have oem Hans Dampfs on my Giant Reign. Gorilla taped the rims and the rear has been fine. The front has been problematic. The side walls are very porous. Could feel air seeping out of them. They sealed temporarily with a bit of a wheel waggle dance. I have ridden twice since and it is fine riding but flat 2 days later. As above really, just keep topping up as necessary and riding. They should seal eventually.

They are great. I have a one in the kitchen. You can get a pair for £269 direct from Sonos at the moment.

Likewise. I have a set of virtually unused 26 inch Daturas in Farnborough, Hants. If that is convenient for anyone? £15 for the pair 🙂

I did the last one and there were some pretty muddy sections. I switched to a mud tyre on the rear after practice and was pleased with the decision. I would imagine it will be worse after all this rain.
