Its probably easier and not too expensive (given cost of rims and spokes and cost of your time) to buy some ProBuild wheels from Merlin

29+ Pike on my Stache. Would not want to go back to a 32mm fork.

+1 Pendle because of the greater bike to bike spacing and strap fittings.

    Simple but very effective

Buy the hirers own insurance so their can be no charge to your card. Its more expensive but less hassle when it goes wrong. (It will!)

Got conned myself. Goldcar wanted €250 for a tiny mark (in reality almost invisble) on a very scuffed Yaris. I had personal XS insurance. Took loads of pictures.

Was ransomed by the car check in that I had to accept / sign for the damage before they would sign the return. If they did not sign the return, then the car was effectively ‘stolen’. They knew I had a plane to catch!

Went to claim on my insurance that and was told my my insurance that there was no actual damage was present and wouldn’t pay up.

For a start wire the set-top box and PS3 (both HDMI?) through the amp. The amp then switches the video to the TV and amplifies the sound.

Subwoofer via RCA from LFE (low frequency effects) and speakers set to large.

The LFE is a dedicated sound track on 5.1 and above sound tracks and there now point in mixing it in to the stereo.

720p is better, interlaced video will give jagged edges on fast moving images.

The p means progressive and the whole frame is scanned once. i means interlaced and the frame is scanned over 2 lines, odd lines then even lines.

A 1.2 Skoda Yeti is legal to tow what I need….

Petrol Yetis are 2wd, given you looking at 4×4’s, this may not be what you need

I ride chronicle on my Trek Stache the exo ones seem tough. I destroyed a chubacabra on the Southdowns.

They roll ok and have seen all types of terrain.

Ive got the Thule 970 and use a Toyota Rav4, with my 120mm 29er the bike touch the ground over mild speed bumps taken slowly. Won’t take 2 bikes easily.

Its is solid though and doesn’t fall off.

    Avoid.

Go for a pendle “wheel support rack” 2nd hand, i’ve got one of these.

Ive got some 2011 Fox Floats

140mm, Tapered Steerer, 15mm Axle. OEM of an 18″ 2011 Orange Five

Yours for the cost of the postage.

New seals, unscratched stanchions. Been on my shelf for 3 years after I went to Pikes.

I have a Rav4 with exactly the same problem, it doesn’t self centre the last 15 degrees or so and is sticky in the centre position.

Its a 2008 with EPS so newer. Toyota say its within normal limits, tracking is checked and fresh MOT no advisories, so must be something stiff or failed.

When I’m driving back late at night it is verging on undriveable since every tiny steering correction is forced.

Like to be disposed off soon, and something else (maybe another Rav4) if I can find one thats OK.

Move a good rear wheel to the front and put the space saver on the rear. PITA!!

Take the BMW back to the dealer. There is an approved fix which puts black tape in the aperture. You can’t see it with the door closed. Its a warranty job under 2 years.

Mine (14 plate) did the same thing. Now quiet.

2nd for the eTrex 30 here. Buttons are much better than touch screen in muddy gloves.

    Install Openstreetmaps from Talky Toaster.

    Small screen is only downside.

Just bought an Oregon though some can report back on touchscreen use.

    kjcc25:
Ive got a 2014 Superfly which I got cheap as my winter hack, the Stache is

    . Slacker
    . Longer top tube
    . Wide bars, short stem.
. Not so low at the front and will bomb through much tougher stuff without even breaking a sweat.

A stache is ideal for the kind of riding you mention.

You a comparing a XC hardtail to a trail hardtail. The Stache is still a hardtail though so not full sus compliant. I run my tyres at 14psi and think I could go a bit lower.

I’ve got the carbon stache and it’s proper riot, despite the huge wheels it handles really well. Chupacabra are flimsy on the south downs flints so changed to maxxis chronicle.

It’s my go to bike for all day rides and short blasts in the evening. It’s really easy to manual.

We actually did not know that was happening, it was set up by one of our customers as a demo of their product portfolio.

We sell to broadcast providers and they rent kit out to events etc.

    Our highlights are
In boat video from Oxford Cambridge boat race
    Headcam on olympic skiers
Saddle cam on velodrome on olympic bikes

    back to circuit design …

Ah nuts, I’m riding elsewhere tonight but I live right on QE doorstep.

Assuming you’re competant aim to to the red route. If you run out of time its really easy to return to the centre.
The actual start of the red route is here

    InTheTrees

and you can park near by. There is a meter to pay as well on the approach to that car park.
