Maybe it’s not called a quick release but a manual thing rather than the hex head.
I know the length of mine but can’t find similarly sized online or one’s online do not specify length or a different so am buying completely blind. If someone has fitted one, can they tell me where they got it

Wheels and Spokes seem well put together but want to bring it to the LBS to give it a once over before I go smashing it.

I have posted this in a number or threads on here with no response.
I want to change the rear thru axle with a QR axle.
Which QR axle suits the scandal?
    I know its 12 x 148 mm boost. 12 mm x 1.75 thread.
But the length is confusing for these.
Any links for one that will work?

Anyone shed any light on this?
Finding all kinds of sizes but nothing appears to suit the scandal

    TIA

    Regarding the brake lines.
My front us way too long.
    Rear not so bsd.
Bit spongy, some air in the lines.

What saddles are people using as replacement for the stock plank, it’s horrific??

I would agree with Damascus. I just got a large and am 6ft 1 ish. The large is quite a big bike, I would guess a medium would not be too small for me either

New On-one scandal arrived over Xmas.
Really nicely boxed. The box was huge, no issues with damage at all.

Really happy with, only rode it down the street.
The 35 mm forks are noticeably bigger than what I am used to seeing.
Brakes feel a bit spongy but think they need to be both bled and bedded in properly.

Some thing I don’t like is the saddle. It’s awful hard and will be binned soon I think.
What saddle are most guys running? Recommendations?
The tyres are also pretty chunky and don’t seem to fast rolling.
Did anyone upgrade these? If so, too what?

Can anyone confirm the correct rear thru axle with a lever for an on-one scandal.
Got the new bike over xmas and want to change to lever for ease of use.
Alot of different sizes out there regarding length.
    Would this work:
    KTM thru

My axle is 169 mm in length. From the shoulder to the end of threads

How do the Panaracer fire tyres perform on the Scandal? Any good or just swap them out asap?

I felt a bit greedy coming upto Christmas so went and bought a set from STFU.
Remy Metailler has a 15% discount code with STFU. The code is on his Instagram page, helps me to justify buying it😁

    Thanks for the heads up.

I don’t have any experience building a wheel or straightening a wheel etc. I am not a bike mechanic after all as much I would like to think I am ha.

So for things like this I might bring the bike to a bike shop to give it a going over, once I get it ‘looking’
    straight.

I hope to be getting my new scandal soon. It’s a complete bike.
But looking through some threads on here, there are a few things I need to watch for regarding build quality.

Spokes and wheels are not always tight or running fully through?
Derailleur is not always fully set up?
Headset not adequately greased? Would you advise changing the headset for a better one?

Is there anything else I need to watch for?
    Thanks

Thanks for the heads up guys and seems to make sense to me.
A bike stand might be a better option to get started with.
Santa received the list today, he is a great guy😁

I bought the On-One Scandal last night. Early Christmas present to myself!!! Looks like a pretty sweet whip plus was on sale so hopefully it will arrive asap.
Thanks for the heads up guys, I would have never come across it otherwise

Agreed I think the Hello Dave is alot more aggresive than I am looking for. Too slack, travel is quite long also. Still looks like a great bike.

I see the Scandal is on offer and have made my mind up on it I think.
I am 6ft 1(185cm) & 90 kg. Would the large but a good fit for me?

Steel vs aluminum frames? What are your opinions??

Wow thanks for the replies and feedback. I honestly didnt think so many would reply.

The On-one bikes look really good, especially the Scandal. The Hello dave is very similar just steel frame and more external cables right?

The Commencal looks pretty sweet but with 160 mm travel is probably bit more than I really need.
The Orbea looks like a nice bike also, another one for the list.

Agreed the biggest problem might be getting most of the bikes on the list.
However, the On-on bikes seem pretty avaialble though right?
