The police have been pretty vocal that Internet speculation is causing the family distress. So maybe we shouldn’t.

I’ve got a newish Jeht. I was a little concerned about the slackness before I bought it. Absolutely fine in practice. I’d probably prefer marginally shorter chain stays if I’m being picky. It’s good on the flat and incredible downhill (to the point I can’t imagine needing a longer travel bike). There’s no denying it’s a bit of a lump on the ups. Looks great, quality seems brilliant and cotic were good to deal with :)

Thanks folks. That video is highly relevant I suspect, tight calves is a definite issue for me

Similarly, i read that the total weight of the pheasants in the uk, who are only there to be shot, is more than all the wild birds combined. Not a healthy ecosystem.

I traded in a Polo last year. I thought I’d get £6k private sale or £4.5k – £5k trade in. I didn’t want to sell privately as there were a couple of things wrong and didn’t want hassles with private buyers. Was surprised and happy when the main dealer gave me £6k for it.

A fat bike, whose original owner was foolish enough to leave their bike locked by it’s back wheel presumably ;)

Speak to the claims department of your Critical Illness insurer. Lymphoma might be covered (subject to meeting certain criteria/definition e.g. stage and seriousness). There’s no downside to asking the question and it’s possible they could pay out.

I’d second the MM BB combo as recommended above. No idea on cost tho.

A friend who moved to NZ put his tyres through the washing machine before going!

My wife has a new Fabia. Generally feels like a well built car. Two biggest complaints: small engine plus six speed gear box means you have to constantly change gear. The lane assist is over keen and a major pain on rural roads. You have to turn it off every time you start the car, you can’t permanently disable it.

I’ve got a vitus hardtail, decent bike with good spec for the money. Would buy from them again.

I once heard Tina Turner cover Massive Attack’s Unfinished Sympathy. That was pretty bad.

On the Never Strays Far podcast, Ned Boulting was speculating about him going to Ineos for one year… Pete Kenaugh said Cav has a team lined up, is happy and motivated…

For context, the article i read said there had been five or six deaths. In a normal year we would have expected four by this time. So not massively unusual. Obviously still tragic for the families involved.

If it’s that easy, why not go and win the US Open yourself next year?

Because all the profit from the associated data mining goes into other bits of the business I imagine.
Probably a convenient tax dodge as well.

There was some felling going on near the off piste bit near the Belvedere when I drove past at the weekend. That’s as much as I can tell you…

I had the same a few years back. Patience, stretching, good physio, ibuprofen and more patience. It will get better but takes time. I think i was off the bike for approximately three months and then another three months to get back to something approaching normal. The doc did prescribe tablets to calm down the nerve stuff. Not sure I’d take them again, don’t think they helped much.

Taking your 25% tax free cash doesn’t trigger the MPAA.
You can still use the remainder for flexi access drawdown at a later date. The MPAA comes into effect when taxable income is drawn.
No compulsion to take an annuity.

Taking tax free cash only doesn’t trigger the money purchase annual allowance (MPAA).

I forget what they are called, but I’ve got some Nukeproof ones I really like. Think they were about £65 last year.

Been commuting for years on a single speed steel, rim braked, road bike. Cheap, low maintenance and relatively unattractive to thieves. Recommended if you can find something suitable. Alas on one seemed to have stopped making these sorts of F&F…

The Saudis didn’t learn to use the weapons they’re slaughtering the people of the Yemen with, without the help of our government. Personally I find that more concerning than a few mercenary pilots…

With that range/speed they’d presumably fall under the rules for electric powered motorbikes rather than ebikes?

I was there for 24 hrs, so obviously I’m an expert… lasting impression was a lot of concrete and seemed pretty grim. A lot like Plymouth. And absolutely freezing.

I’ve got a vitus with the fox 34 fork. Have to say I thought the fork was brilliant straight out the box.

I’ve just replaced the original finned grx pads with some cheap unbranded ones from ebay. They’re absolutely fine and a quarter the price.

If you get caught, have you considered the implications of future borrowing… Can’t imagine mortgage lenders wanting to touch you in the future.

Saw a similarly overloaded car on the A30 a couple of weeks back. It was upside down on the grass verge.

Replace the rear. When that one wears out it’s probably time to swap both.

Make sure you visit and check the areas thoroughly. There’s a reason those are some of the more affordable bits of Cornwall. Plus Bodmin seems to be a constant traffic jam in recent years (and I avoid it during the summer months).

Mine’s got a different shock, but I’m using a nukeproof side cage. Cotic recommended a Lezyne but the Nukeproof was cheaper. Using 600 ml wiggle bottle. Bit of a squeeze, 500 ml would be better.
