Ditto. I’ve never forgiven them for the easily snappable BMXs i grew up riding.

I’ve never had a six bolt come loose. I can’t say the same about centrelock.

Have they sorted the touch screen not working in the wet issue yet?

Yeah. Assuming you’re not doing massive jumps / gaps. Worst case scenario a chainstay fails it probably won’t be the end of the world. If it was a fork or bars my response would be very different.

I asked this question 13 years ago and bought Exposure. Still going strong today.

I run 650×47 Wtb Byways. They work great for me. I like the extra width off road and they still roll pretty good on tarmac (to the point i sold my road bike). I probably am in the minority preferring the smaller wheel size tho.

Does any waterproof material really survive washing machines?

It’s pretty slow moving by the standards of modern kids films. My son wasn’t interested.

A song can be both good and not to your personal taste.

My hardtail cost £1500, but more recently was on sale at £1000. Fox 34 fork which is brilliant. Shimano deore brakes/drivetrain which has been faultless. Have given that bike an absolute hiding and it’s still running. A lot of “low end” stuff is good these days.

Must be someone on here who can do a Throbber logo in the style of Thrasher mag?!

Bigger gravel bars seemed to become popular with people who either use big bar bags and/or people who use their gravel bike as a MTB. Personally I think narrower bars are more appropriate in terms of fit and comfort. I’d probably look at something in 40/42 size range.

Talk to his teacher and express your concerns, particularly re bruises. At that age teachers should be able to deal with it to some degree.

It does get better but takes bloody ages. I was concerned that each time my foot hurt i was causing further damage. However, the physio said that isn’t the case. Keep on with the gentle stretching.

We had a 2015 Polo. Advice to change the battery is solid IMO. However, we also had problems caused by the gubbins that connects the buttons on the steering wheel with the rest of the electronics. It made a clicking noise when steering was on full lock…

    Do you know how to:

    compare charges

look at risk levels of existing and new funds

assess your own attitude to risk

consider any special terms such as protected tax free cash or guaranteed annuity rates or protected retirement ages

do you understand DB vs DC

understand what flexible retirement options the new scheme offers

compare the performance of new and existing funds

understand with profits and mva’s if applicable

    passive vs active investing

    and on and on

I put some 700 road wheels in an inbred for commuting. It was awful.

My favourite tree was on Mardon Down overlooking Mortenhampstead and Dartmoor. Blew over a couple of years back… Thankfully just nature taking it’s course not related to morons and chainsaws

Yeah, 10-11 ft is about right. The decathlon (itiwit) stuff is good value in my opinion. Worth spending a bit extra for a decent paddle if she’s going to get into it. Avoid windy days.

If the past week is anything to go by, download the Safer Seas app, so you can check whether SW Water has been discharging raw sewage

Fuerteventura is indeed great for surfing. Loads of surf school/hire places around Cotillo and Coralejo. It picks up a lot of swell during the Winter. So often it being too big is the problem, although being an island there always a sheltered spot somewhere. Other times of the year probably less of an issue…

I’ve had the same on two occasions. It does get better but takes plenty of time. A good physio will help if you can find one. A poor physio is a total waste of time. Hard to find a good one!

Plenty of gentle stretching and patience is about all you can do.

    Personally, I wouldn’t go near a chiropractor.

If you want to get it repaired properly, Bodyline wetsuits in Newquay are brilliant. They do mail order repairs. I tripped over and ripped a hole in the knee of a brand new winter suit. They removed the old panel and replaced it; good as new. Reasonably priced as well.

The Rival calipers i had suffered with a micro leak that was contaminating the pads = loads of noise and not much braking
