Cav is marginally beating second string sprinters with the aid of the best team. Looks believable to me.
Pog looks mildly suspicious. As others have said it would have been closer if fit Bernal and/or Roglic were there.
Valverde is juiced to the eyeballs given some of his recent performances.

I had one of those camo seats with the denim/canvas type of finish. It’s too rough, wore out a couple of pairs of shorts. There’s a reason most seats have smooth finishes.

Most overrated band of all time.

My understanding is 42 is the max. I stand to be corrected tho.
Mine only lasted 12 months before failing so you’ll probably have to replace it soon anyway!

The only advice i can give on this is to avoid Wickes like the plague. Cheap tat, worse service.

Just be honest in the description. It’s a sellers market, it’ll be fine.

Temazepam mixed with some booze will have that effect

I run 28mm on my commuter bike and over the years have gradually reduced pressure from 80 or 90 to 60ish. Seems more comfortable and faster…
If the bike would accommodate them I’d actually go to 32 mm at about 50psi.

Have seen them in Devon and Cornwall so they are definitely spreading across the country :)

I’m not a huge fan of Haldon, but given how close it is, surely going anywhere else is nuts!

I seem to recall reading a story, possibly on road.cc. Similar circumstances but riding on a pavement instead of jumping a light. Police failed to deal with close pass but issued a fine for riding on pavement.

Got woken up by two badgers fighting in the back garden a couple weeks ago. The noise they were making was genuinely horrible.

Most of the mags are about bikes, hence why they are so dull. If they were about riding bikes and the people they’d be much more interesting. Keeping advertisers happy I guess.

A friend was looking for a new job with assistance of a recruitment consultant. The recruiter offered his details to a number of employers, including his current boss. Awkward.

Sold a bike on FB market place recently, it was sold and collected within three hours. Have also sold a pile of parts as well. Obvs there’s the odd time waster but that’s to be expected…
In the current climate if it’s not selling, it’s maybe overpriced

I stand corrected on the three month guarantee period…

    Andy_Sweet

A cetv is normally guaranteed for three months.
A pension sharing order typically is described in percentage terms.
So cetv requested and divorce settlement agreed.
Then when the pension is due to be split, typically some time later, a new cetv is requested (they can charge for this). The pension is then split as per the percentage not in monetary terms.

Good when they’re new. But if they’ve sat in your camelback/frame bag for a while, not so effective in my experience…

In my youth (some time ago) putting in a bmx bottom bracket with a vice, managed to also squeeze both chainstays, putting a dent in each side of my brand new frame.
Needn’t have worried, S&M next gen dirt bike. Built like a tank.

Have you tried some different pads? I haven’t been desperately impressed by shimano pads lately…
I’ve owned 105 and grx snd can’t say i noticed any significant difference between them.

At that price point most bikes are very good. Make sure you get the fit right. Consider tyre width. Personally I’d go for something more endurance than race, but figure out what suits you. Disc brake or not is a personal choice. I wouldn’t be without them.
Plus there will be a big element of what you can actually buy currently.

Wait until you find out about how much money the Government threw at their friends at Serco… a few bike vouchers aren’t even a drop in the ocean

I’ve got a Ribble CGR and rate it. Spend the extra on Shimano rather than cheap SRAM. The SRAM stuff packs up so quick shimano will probably work out cheaper in the long run.

There will be someone along in a minute saying that some minor detail is wrong in the film and we should ignore it…. Unfortunately, the reality is commercial fishing is destroying ocean life at a terrifying rate. Killing everything in the ocean has an inevitable effect on everything that lives on the land including us. Future generations will ask us why nothing was done.

Sainsburys gave me a twenty five quid voucher after being close passed by one of their van drivers. Reported in person at the store. Harder to fob off face to face!

I thought that if it was before the meter it was the water companies issue. Between the meter and the house it becomes the liability of the homeowner/their home insurer…
That’s what happened when our neighbours developed a leak under our shared drive.

As long as you can get more than half a mile away from a car park / coffee shop you’ll be alreet. Probably.

I have similar problems. Took it to the Apple store in Exeter for initial diagnostics, couldn’t find anything.
They offered to do a more thorough instore diagnostic for free if i left it with them. Never got round to it.
If second round of diagnostics didn’t fix it a new battery is circa £300. Probably not worth it on a three year old plus machine.
Been loyal to apple for laptops and phones for a while. Reconsidering that due to crappy batteries in all of them…

That’s interesting, I didn’t think about just getting the roof replaced… It does have lead work connecting it to the walls.
