    I was born in Singapore.

    Many years ago.

I have two birth certificates, a British one and a Singapore one.

Maybe I will go back there one day before I pop my clogs!

if you’ve got it use it if not don’t bother just check your bolts after a few rides

    andy7t2

it’s more to do with tension.

You might find the chain is stretching so the chain is becoming stack during the ride, either increase the tension or if possible remove another link/half link

    hope this helps

shame you cant order any of them near london, im looking for some new gloves and so far the best i have seen are these

    Giro DJ gloves
    http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/clothing/gloves/product/review-giro-dj-gloves-10-37609

“If you only have one pair of gloves for everything, get these. They’re superb”

not so sure about this ripped my giro dj’s on the third ride and first crash, soggy newspaper would be better

lost mine about 2 years ago, no problems until glentress this year and retaining bolt worked loose and fell out, not good losing your back brake at high speed.

You can buy 2 new retaining bolts from the internet for about a fiver or if you get a set of avid pads they come with a new retaining bolt and clip. If not pop into your local lsb they might have one from an old set.

might be worth seeing which qualifications your organisation recognise before booking on.

I have MIAS training and similar to you lead small groups of young people on days out biking

    three valleys

been there twice with different riders and some great natural trails for all abilities, not loads of riders so you get trails all to yourself

I always thought it was as soon as you wake up. A willy waving 38bpm btw
If you can wave you willy just after waking up then you have bigger issues to worry about that resting heart rate.

if it’s only 38 while willy waving you must have a two stroke engine 😀

i prefer the 170 just feel more like a circular action rather than the 175 which feel more up and down, if that makes sense. 6ft BTW

i’m not saying it’s right but we all do it would you have call the cops if it was a mtber on a footpath

i’d have tried to have a quite word first explaining to them about the built trails, if there not wrecking somebody else’s work live and let live if they carry on then call the cops

THing is though, cycling on a footpath is a civil offense of trespass, riding an off-road motorcycle at Lee Quarry may be more akin to the golf course analogy (sp?) and be liable for criminal damage?

and what about all the cheeky trails built on FC land, cheeky jump areas in local parks that we might not built but all use is that criminal damage as well

and if we are leaving scars on footpaths is that criminal damage

riding on purpose built stuff is a bit different to riding a footpath

not sure the ramblers would agree

    andy7t2

that what i thought you meant nice bikes

there’s plenty of legal paths all over the country but MTBers still choose to ride the illegal/cheeky trails because there something different/new/better/not know by many/not wrecked by over use i’m sure there’s a 100 reasons.

    only joking

i agree with you, i’ve ridden a couple of three illegal trails in my life when its our legal right were all high and mighty but if it’s an illegal trail its cheeky and a bit of a laugh

i’d imagine its the same for trail riders

is the brake rubbing when not braking, if not then just move the levers in

if it is rubbing try pushing the pistons all the way back into the housing

the tarmac is for parking and entrance to a sports field, it’s been an entrance for as long as i can remember but they have never needed road markings. it might not be the council but you thought whoever has done it would ask the council before painting all over their pavements

Tom thanks didn’t think of this i’ll mention this to the council when i can get hold of them
