Well done that man! I see Jan was in on the job too!

So long as people learn how to stay safe, that’s the main thing.

I am delighted with my M4s, outright braking power is one thing but feel is quite another. I think they have the best combination of both, having tried avid, hayes and shimano.

the gully monster is still there, but there is a diversion around the landslip…..although i have ridden the landslip before they fenced it off.

    Had a 16″ inbred and have an 18″ 456.
There is little difference between the top tube lengths of both sizes so the only real difference is standover height..
I am just shy of 6′.
So if you are long legged go for the 18 or stumpy legged the 16.

Got em, love em! I find the wrist position much more comfortable on long rides with much less numbness.

Always wished for bigger calves, but never struggled for power or hill climbing ability..I am 6 foot and 13 stone but calves only 14.5″, my boys are 14.25″ and he is nearly fifteen…Wife trumps us both with 18″so better be careful she don’t kick my a$$.

To be possible the master and slave cylinders need to be compatible in terms of which brake fluid you use and the ratio between the cylinder sizes needs to be ok. Gonna be interesting finding out!

Lumps of wood, a hammer warmer head tube than headset and some patience never failed me.

13 stone, I run 40psi in the back and 35 up front in an effort to keep a combination of reasonable rolling resistance, grip and puncture free riding. I used to run higher pressures (50r/45f)but have found lowering them has improved grip and handling without feeling like i am riding through treacle. Hate pinch flats so not keen to go much lower.

I actually like it, and if i had the dosh i would buy one for sure. The only bit that looks a bit out of place is the linkage bar, which would maybe look better anodized in black.

£9 for the wheel pro book (download) is your best way forward. Easy to follow common sense instructions which ensure even your first build is a pleasurable experience.. His design for home made truing stand is also easy and fun to build.

A games console for a 5 year old! What is the world coming to?
Kids should be inventing their own games, not relying on stuff fed to them through a machine in their own little bubble and not interacting with others.

did a google search for “doddy” and this came up, so got a little distracted!

    Who cares about helmets now?

Mud and snow tyres should not be confused with winter tyres. They have a tread pattern that works well in both mud and snow, but generally the same hard rubber compound as a regular summer tyre.

You make an excellent point, winter tyres should be of a suitable compound and siped tread pattern for grip in wet and icy conditions.

I would go for the 16…got a 16 mmbop for the boy and have to say that i found that the standover is quite high and i am 5 11. The cockpit is only a little bit shorter than brants previous on-one designs.
For my son i have gone for a 50mm stem and inline post to help him grow into it.

I don’t think they suit me, but I what i do know is that I will never look quite as daft as that guy from MBUK who looks like a chavvy worzel gummage.

Bit more cash but went for this one as it seemed very sturdy and well made, stack height wasnt a concern and its a nice deep fit into the headtube.

    fsa headset

Very pleased with it as its smooth well sealed which considering its the brats bike the low maintenance aspect is good.

I would also consider the possibility of lyme disease. Have you been bitten by a tick or been in ticky areas. The feeling of having a virus and then the fatigue, memory loss, muscle twitching and mental health problems are all symptoms of lyme..Ask your gp to test.

I run mine with a 130-150 pace fork with launch control which drops the fork low for climbing. I think a 160 would make it too lazy for general use and spoil its climbing ability.

axle length depends on what crank you’re using and if you’re fitting an e type front mech etc

Exactly that is why i ask the question in the first place granny ring!

I am looking for the answer, not confirmation that i needed to ask the question in the first place!

It’s as i described earlier with a standard mech.

been getting ticks for over 25 years now, lyme has been around for a long time folks, its only now that the disease is getting correctly diagnosed and with a combination of factors…more ticks about…more people active in the outdoors…sheep not dipped as much as they used to be….milder more favourable conditions for ticks.

For advice and info please visit http://www.bada-uk.org top info and no bullshit!
Feel free to contact me if you have any concerns about ticks and tick borne diseases..
To stay safe the basics are.

    1.Avoid tick contact

2.Remove correctly…fine tweezers or tick tool only

3.Be aware that if you are infected it can take up to 5 or 6 weeks for symptoms to manifest themselves (this is how so many people are incorrectly diagnosed and treated at this crucial early stage)

    4. Don't Panic

Its not as good looking as the old one, but it is cheaper…the rear triangle compliance is the only area which needed tweeked…the new front end doesn't look as beefy as the old one.

here's mine, ON-ONE 456ti 18".Sadly not ridden it much due to continued poor health so its been on my mind to either sell it as a whole or frame only…Its built up using as many quality Yorkshire/lancashire built/designed bits as possible with middleburn duo crankset.
    Wheels are hanbuilt.

Its a peach of a bike but its not getting the riding it deserves…so testing the water.
