    Not working here :(

Same every year, once you’ve got the stream loaded it ok, but the site dies so you can’t get on if you’re not quick enough.

I love my MT500, perfectly waterproof over this winter, loads of zips and vents (does need it, it can be quite warm, but with the vents open I’ve still been using it this week). The hood is excellent, fits over a helmet no problem (even my Flux with the spoiler on), and has lots of toggles to get it nice and snug and to stay on.

Only downsides are if you want to use it on the road, it’s black, so not very visible, and the hood restricts your view if its up, and tends to flap to one side blocking your view when you glance over your shoulder unless you shove it to the other side when its not up.

Nothing better than the sound of rain on your hood while you’re nice and dry :D

They’re not in the pram place anymore, it’s a counter on a trading estate with a few bits on display and some BMXs and stuff in a room upstairs.

TBH – I’ve never had any problems with plain old soap and hot water, what’s the advantage of these cleaners then?

Most washes you don’t need to touch the bike at all. Rinse bike, spray on, rinse off. Fenwicks neat on the drivetrain and you’re done.

How do I find this Jedi then?

First one is Bradwell Edge, don’t recognise the tree bit though, must be super cheeky!

Is that Cutthroat Bridge at the end? Never been that way, always gone to the inn.

Transform is a strong word, but you really do notice how much you miss it when it stops working (as they all do..).

not really followed the case or understood the issues have you?

What makes you say that? Have a point you disagree with or just generally disagree?

I’ve read the CPS report that says there wasn’t enough evidence to charge him the first time round as all the post mortems were flawed, meaning there’s no solid evidence that it was the push that killed him.

Waste of time and money, they’ve given in to public pressure, but having read the previous CPS report, I think I could defend him, the evidence is so full of holes.

If he gets a fair trial (not sure how likely that is based on the coverage its already recieved) and a decent lawyer he’ll get found not guilty, and they’ll be another outcry and claims of a cover up.

    London Road Fire Station

The building was the headquarters of the Manchester Fire Brigade until the brigade was replaced by the Greater Manchester Fire Service in 1974. The fire station closed in 1986, since when it has been largely unused despite several redevelopment proposals. It was placed on English Heritage’s Buildings at Risk Register in 2001 and in 2010 Manchester City Council served a compulsory purchase order on the fire station’s owner, Britannia Hotels.

Such a shame it was left empty for so long :(

The first climb goes on a bit, but its not steep. There is a steep climb later on on the red but its only short.

It’s means the stock level is low ;)

I went into the shop and bought some pedals that showed low stock on the website, so it doesn’t mean they’re all out.

If you’re deseperate though, I’d e-mail them, sometimes their system isn’t 100% up to date.

From reading news reports, it sounds like he came out of a junction into the path of her car.

It’s very sad that the boy died, but that shouldn’t impact on the sentance for different offences.

She was fined for the failing to stop, and for the tyre. Not for the accident. Either that will be a seperate charge, or that wasn’t her fault.

Sounds very much like the creak I cured this weekend on my MTB. The driveside BB cup was loose. Took it off, took the opportunity to clean it up and some new grease and re-tightened. Jobs a good ‘un.

These are local trails, for local people..

We have seen trails deteriorate once they become widely publicised through online mapping and gpx files.

And a certain magazine, and their website? ;)

There does seem to be a lot of “these trails are amazing, but you can’t know where they are” when it comes to this area..

This the same Webb who has never given a penalty against Chelsea?

The same Webb who deemed this John Terry tackle only worthy of a yellow?

Don’t believe everything you read in the press.

Because it’s far better than I’ll ever be.
Because it’s taken me places I’d never have been without it.
Because it’s shown me things I’d never have seen.
Because I think I got a great deal on it.
    Because it’s mine.

Big fan of Manchester’s new children’s hospital.

Bright, light, colourful, exactly what is important for that kind of building.

The Trails on my Trance X are a pain in the arse too. While it’s only mildly irritating if you’re at home with a track pump, trying to get them seated at the side of the trail with a mini pump is a nightmare.

I love my Endura Pirhanas as much as my Oakley Half Jackets. The photochromatic thing isn’t great to be honest, but they’re the glasses I ride in most of the year. Very comfy, unlike my Endura Sharks.

Usual CRC technique, some bargains, but mostly wierd one offs or odd sizes.

    £20 off a Xar ain’t bad though.

Anyone else do it today? Was a few other bikes about.

It’s running really nice, dusty and sandy and dry, only one spot I think where it was a bit soft and damp.

The original bridge is fantastic, and this blokes modelling of it (over the next few pages) is incredible..

I looked at them when I got the e-mail, and the first thing that came to mind was, if it’s such a simple idea that would solve a problem so easily, and could be done so cheapily, why haven’t Shimano, or Chris King, or Hope or someone come up with it by now..

I’m with druidh, if you’re going to be sticking several £k of bikes to it and then traveling at 70mph, then a good rack is a good investment imo.

I adore my Trance X for Peak District riding. Ridden lots there in the last 18 months, and barely anythings worn out. Just keep things cleaned and lubed.

Don’t get why you’d do it..

Cost has been ruled out, you can get a proper jersey for next to nothing.
Looks? Can get jerseys that look pretty much exactly like a plain t-shirt.

Cotton is rubbish as a material for exercise, someone even said they wore a wicking baselayer under a hoody, what exactly is the point in that? Where’s it going to wick to?

If I’m going for a ride, I want to enjoy it, so why not choose something that will be the most comfortable.
