    Keane's challenge didn't end Haaland's career.

Haaland's career was ended by an injury to his other knee.

Never understood why steerers aren't replacable anyway, surely they're just pressed in?

I think the shock is an odd size as well. Tough to find one!

    Could be wrong?

    Jay

Nope, you're right, Giant use a custom sized shock, so you can't buy one off the shelf.

I believe they're working on planning and with land owners to build one though

They are a really lovely looking bike. Got a nice industrial sort of look, like the black and the silver.

    I got Haribo too.

And lets be honest, I'd forgive Hitler if he came with Haribo.

    All the above and more.

Its easy to point the finger at the smoking ban, but pubs have been closing long before then.

Its a social habits thing, people used to go to the pub on the way home from work for a pint, or in the evening to get out of the house, but most people simply don't want to do that anymore. Add in the high cost of running a pub, and the fact that most bigger pubs are worth more as land than as pubs, and its easier to close than to stay open.

Why did he not just give them his details if he was so innocent, and then he could have gone home rather than getting locked up..

Oh hang on, he wouldn't have been in the paper then..

Someone give him Max Clifford's number.

That shop in Liverpool seems to be a style over substance thing, having driven from Manchester, I was hugely disappointed.

Bidding doesn't really matter, they want you to e-mail them, arrange to BIN and then send them the money away from ebay. That'll then be the last you hear of them, and your money.

can I borrow your crystal ball to confirm that?

Or you could use your common sense and say that bikes worth £1000+ that are currently at less than £50 with a matter of hours to go, with adverts as dodgy as that, aren't going to suddenly spark a bidding war and sell for their true value, are they?

Or we could argue about pedantic points that really don't matter, as none of the bikes exist anyway, and if ebay pull their finger out, the auctions will never reach conclusion. Just hope no ones been caught out already.

You've searched for sold items? Until an auction is finished, the "price" is meaningless.

Most, if not all of those auctions will end well below their value without some kind of devine intervention.

Very suspicious, gone from selling lots of small cheap items to flogging bikes for a fraction of their value. None of the pictures are taken in the same place too, suggesting they've been taken from the internet, and the bikes probably don't exist. American account suddenly started selling bikes from Norfolk.

Excellent, a Giant love thread :D

I love the Maestro system, it pedals fantastically. My riding seemed to get so much better when i got this bike, feels miles faster, although probably isn't!

Can't wait to try a 140mm fork on it too.

I've got Just Killing Time stuck on my wall here at work, something about it just makes me smile.

Vile. Someone that desperate for money for drugs is not in the right mind to make such a life changing decision.

Surely spending the money fighting the addiction would be a better idea?

If you just want a standard flowers and butterflys to stick on it, ebay is your best bet, loads of that kind of thing, for peanuts.

Strong mix of Fenwicks and a hosepipe. Not perfect, but gets 95% of the muck off without even a brush or a sponge.

My Thule 908 was bloody expensive, but well worth it. Stupidly easy to attach, 2 minutes tops to put the rack on the car and the bike on the rack. Bikes are securely held too, no chance of them coming off.

    [/url]

Like I say, expensive, but not as expensive as the bikes I trust it to hold at 70+ on the motorway.
